Fourth Floor Common Room, morning

Isabel was up early and in the mood to actually cook for a change. So she was out in the kitchen mixing up a batch of banana nut muffins. So what if it came from a box? They'd still taste good. There was a fresh pot of coffee on the counter and Isabel was humming along with the music on her iPod as she cooked.

"It was back in February," Wyatt said with a rueful chuckle. "Mel wanted a little payback for the panty raid."

"So she stole your clothes? Go Mel!" Isabel laughed. "That's good. That's very, very good. I'm really sorry I missed it."

"I was just lucky Parker didn't have a camera," Wyatt sighed.

"Oh I'm going to have to ask her about that the next time I talk to her," she grinned, before patting Wyatt's shoulder in sympathy. "I'm sure she'll have good things to say."

"She told me to work it," Wyatt said, smirking a little. "I looked fierce."

Isabel almost snorted her coffee. "You're a fan of Tyra?"

Wyatt coughed. "Okay, I've watched it a few times." A few times being marathon sessions on MTV, but he didn't have to say that.

"A new season starts next week," she said casually.

"Any bets on what childhood trauma one of the contestants will have or what potentially offensive photoshoot will piss people off?" Wyatt snickered.

"Well it's a given that the long haired girl will get her hair cut short and cry," Isabel replied. "And the sweet innocent girl will be upset by any shoot that shows too much skin."

"Is it going to be required viewing for Fandom's Next Top Model class?" Wyatt asked.

"He hasn't mentioned it. Not that I'd mind," she shrugged. "Since I watch it anyway. I just worry that he's going to get ideas for class." Isabel tugged on the braid hanging over her shoulder. "I'm not about to cut this off and dye it black."

"I'm with you there," Wyatt said, despite using an icon that spoke to the contrary. "I'm perfect the way I am."

*flees from evil Wyatt*

"Perfect, huh?" She raised and eyebrow and gave him a once over. "Pretty confident in yourself."

"When they gave out confidence, they gave me twice as much, and none to Chris," Wyatt said. "So I have to be confident for both of us."

"Only twice as much?" Isabel teased. "I'd think even more then that."

"I can't help that I'm special," Wyatt said, winking at Isabel. "I'm the Twice-Blessed Child, after all."

"Twice-Blessed Child? In all capitals? I'm sensing a destiny," she told him. "Are you supposed to save the world?"

"I have no idea," Wyatt said, shaking his head. "I'm kind of hoping I'm the reincarnation of King Arthur or something, because behold Excalibur!" The sword appeared in his hand when he called it. He never got tired of doing that.

"Show off!" But that didn't stop Isabel from boggling. "That's really it? Arthur's not just a legend?"

Wyatt grinned and made the sword disappear. "I've always been into Arthurian legends," he said. "It just pulled at me for some reason. I've done a lot of reading on that period of history, too, about the basis of the legends. Then one day I said 'Excalibur' and the sword appeared in my hand. Pretty cool, huh?"

"That's actually pretty neat," she admitted. "Of course the question is, do you know how to use it?" Isabel, make innuendo? Never....

"Of course I do," Wyatt said, not afraid to make innuendo right back. "It's pretty big, though, so I have to use two hands."

"That's...actually kind of scary."

"Nothing to be afraid of," Wyatt said. "It can be dangerous, but if you know how to use it well, then you'll have fun with it."
