Third Floor Hallway: Evening

Jamie had a LOT of squishies.

A LOT.

And since the NEW Red was pretty much... undrinkable, Jamie decided to put it to good use.

After keeping it in slushy like consistency for most of the day in the third Floor Common Room refrigerator, Jamie then took the time to line the third floor hallway with plastic.

Add about two dozen gigantor slushies and some additional liquid and you have the best Red Squishy Slip and Slide ever.

[ooc: It's cold. It's messy. It's good fun. And open.]

"This is new and different," John said, arriving at the slip and slide-like hallway.

"Now that looks like fun," John grinned before following suit and sliding down the red slush slip and slide.

"Maybe the people living on this floor," he started. "But since I'm not one of them, I'm all for the mess."

"Let me know if you need any help," John told him. "This is too cool for you to get stuck with clean up on your own."

Kabuto was on his way up to his room, but had to stop and stare at the new additions to the third floor. "...All right, I give up. What is it?"

[identity profile] sound-loyalty.livejournal.com 2007-09-19 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
Kabuto stared at him. "Do you have a history of mental illness, or is this a new development?"

"My sense of humor and fun does not extend to throwing myself down a sheet of plastic covered in colored ice," Kabuto replied, pushing up his glasses.

Even if he did kind of want to try it. It was a masochistic kind of curiosity.

Hoshi was headed back up to the fourth floor when she heard some kind of commotion. She stopped to check out what was going on.

"What the hell?"

[identity profile] itsjustlanguage.livejournal.com 2007-09-19 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
"Ummm, I don't get it," said Hoshi. The slip and slide, quite unfortunately, did not survive long enough to make it to her century.

"It's messy," countered Hoshi.

Naminé looked for a long moment before bursting out laughing.

"This island is never dull," she beamed. "Is this a random occurrence, or do we have you to thank?"

[identity profile] palestshadow.livejournal.com 2007-09-19 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
Naminé laughed. "One moment. I'll return, I promise."

She dashed up the stairs to her room. When she came back, she was no longer holding her sketchpad, and her hair was in a loose ponytail.

"There. My art is safe, and my hair is reasonably so. So, do you just run at the slide and flail around somewhat like an idiot? I have a feeling that's what will happen, if I try it, and I'd like to know I'm doing it right."

[identity profile] palestshadow.livejournal.com 2007-09-19 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
"That sounds rather more fun, I think," she grinned. "And the benefit of wearing white is that it bleaches out so easily. Well, then!"

Naminé took a running leap and then dove head-first into the slip-n-slide-n-squishy.
