Turtle was partially bored and Turtle had been sitting in her room, trying to think of even more ways to try to situate herself in a standing where she'd be a good, easy choice for her fellow sophomores to vote in to represent them in the student council. A small rumble from her stomach and a reminder of her sweet tooth had the perfect idea: food, of course! Sweet, to be specific! Cupcakes!

There was one problem. Turtle wasn't exactly much of a cook. Bad cupcakes could have bad results. She considered just going to J,GOB, getting some, and sharing them, but that didn't seem to reflect well on her tenacity. She thought a little harder.

Oh, sure, there were still J,GOB cupcakes there, yes, for those who wouldn't want to wait. But Turtle had also picked up a great many supplies for the opportunity for people to make their own cupcakes to their own tastes, the things scattered all around the kitchen and a ridiculous amount of pans and toppings and everything. Quite a nice spread. And, subtly, a seemingly unfinished "Vote for Turtle" sign placed on the counter, as if Turtle had merely just paused her work for the 'spontaneous' cupcake smörgåsbord.

Now, hopefully some people who could actually make them well would show up. Currently, though, Turtle was trying her hand at ultra-sugar-Pixi-Stix-Gumboreo Cupcakes.

Willow looked puzzled. "Worried about... improper use of tea?"

Hey, it was the room of British. This was entirely possible.

"No," Turtle shook her head. "They're both British, so isn't that, like, inherent in their natural being? I don't think they could improperly use tea if they tried. Something about getting mixed up and confused because we both have heads?"

Turtle frowned. "I have no idea. Jeff's weird."

"O...kay," Willow said. "Have we ruled out bite by gremlins?"

"You mean, as a reason why he's concerned about our heads? Yes. Unless Jeff perminately has gremlins nibbling at his heels...."

Turtle frown at that possibility. She would be terribly crestfallen if Jeff's absurdity turned out to just be perpetual gremlin bite. She turned her frown slightly toward Willow.

"Have you...actually gotten a chance to meet Jeff yet, Willow?"

"Admittedly no," Willow said. "But Peter has assured me that he exists. I will admit this has provided one bright side to my own currently rommateless state."

Turtle, cheeks suddenly a little pink, bit her lip to bite back her own comment on her own roommateless state. Hum hum. "That," she smiled a little, to help lessen the blush, but it only made it worse, "makes sense, then. Seriously, if you'd have met him, you'd understand completely what I"m talking about. I think, if a gremlin were to bite Jeff, you could tell because he'd be too normal."

"Maybe we should double date sometime," Willow suggested. "As clearly the boys are too busy being boys to remember to make proper introductions."

Turtle snorted a little at that part. "That could be really fun," she decided, grinning a bit wildly. There would, of course, have to be tea involved...

"We could make them take us somewhere nice," Willow said.

"Or we could take them somewhere nice," Turtle pointed out with a serious tilt of her head. She still had that nine hundred dollars from kicking Annette that she wanted to spend on Jeff somehow. And she had a feeling that Willow might appreciate the nice feminist angle. But then she frowned slightly.

"Do you think they'd let us? I mean, I think Jeff would, but Peter seems like a very proper sort of guy and everything."

"Oh he will if he knows what's good for him," Willow said, looking rather confident in this.

A very pleased grin slowly crept onto Turtle's face. "Exactly," she said, nodding firmly. And then, a moment later, adding, "Awesome."
