Second Floor Common Room, Monday Evening
Valentine was in a good mood, sitting on the couch in the common room wearing a pair of new jeans and a new jacket as well.
... For whatever reason, the shirt that he was wearing with these new clothes was one of his smelly old plum-coloured ones.
He was humming to himself and juggling as he tried to plot out the details for his next big production. The one that his physical well-being was currently very dependent on.
Feel free to ignore or put money into the cup that he's set out on the table. He is accepting donations for his film-making endeavors.

He stood and continued to pass the balls back and forth, and then started to walk around her. "Nice and simple, hm?"

He was actually laughing a little as they went. Because, honestly, he hadn't juggled like this in what seemed as though it had to be ages.
He returned the balls with another few flourishes of his own. This was excellent.

"Your presentation could use a little work," he mused, "but that was fantastic. Almost as good as me, I daresay."
He was so very modest.
"We simply must do this again sometime."

Valentine, ever the opportunist, was going to seize on that affirmative. You had better believe it.
"Excellent! Perhaps on a roadside, next time. With a little cup set out for change. Or, oooh, no, something bigger than a cup. This is a partners' act, now, after all. Ah! A bowl. That would suffice. Mustn't get too carried away, after all. The act is still young."

Because he was a manipulative oddment.
"I'll keep in touch, then. We can refine the juggling, work on your showmanship, build an act! We'll go places!"

There was just something about finding someone who could juggle, after all.
"Okay!" Were there better ways to spend a day free of classes? Valentine could think of a couple. But were there more profitable ones?
Probably. But he wasn't about to wait tables for a few tips when he could be juggling.
