Second Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

Andrew sat down on a sofa with a stack of books and a stack of movies. He also had some microwavable popcorn and a box of hot chocolate.

It was going to be a fun evening full of dead languages and classic cinema. While he waited for his friend, he opened up a book and started to read, laughing often. Sure it was in Latin, but it was still a hoot.

[ooc: Andrew is here for Beauty, but the common room is open like they tend to be!]

Beauty happily accepted the mug, closing her eyes and smiling at the scent, and then carefully slid off the counter and picked up her bowl of popcorn.

"You realize that my next question was going to be 'what is the space program', right?" she asked with a grin. "But I think if we keep that up, you'll be explaining things to me all night, and we'll never get to watch our movie."

It was funny that really, because Andrew was just so blase about it, Beauty didn't even think twice about his finding the actor more appealing than the actress. She'd ponder it later, when she had time to really think things through. Although she also had to admit, when faced with the concepts of invading dragons and talking animals, a boy who liked other boys was a pretty tame topic.

She sat down as well, tucking her feet up under her and definitely ready to see what this movie experience was all about. "So I guess it's a good thing that I'm familiar with the story, and can concentrate my energy on appreciating this Leo instead?" she asked with a grin.

It was very kind of Andrew to offer, but Beauty was already completely floored by what she was seeing, the moment he hit the play button. For a bit, she just stared, and then set aside her popcorn and cocoa and got up from the couch to go and touch her fingers to the screen.

There was a play, but so much more realistic in its trappings than any play she'd ever seen, right there in front of her. With all the sounds of the place in the play, surrounding her as well. It was a little scary, but it was fascinating.

"My God..." she whispered, returning slowly to her seat on the couch, eyes still locked onto the television. "It looks real."
