Room 212 - Monday, mid-morning

When Cassandra had woken up Saturday unable to remember anything, she had intended to find someone to talk to to see if she could figure things out. But that turned out to be a bad plan because any time she saw someone all she found herself thinking about was how to kill them. So instead of trying to talk to people with thoughts like the throat is open and a simple sweep to take them down and then an elbow to the temple running through her head, she'd gone into hiding.

When she woke up this morning, remembering, she'd decided to head back to the dorms to get some food and a shower. Now she was sitting on her bed, legs folded, trying to come to grips with something she didn't want to believe: that deep down she was a killer. After all, when she'd forgotten everything else, she hadn't forgotten how to kill people.

"Yep. Woke up in the radio station thinking I was a DJ," Jamie replied. "Best sleep I've gotten in weeks. What happened to you?"

"I... forgot... too much. My training started to come back, strong. I went and hid so that I wouldn't have to see people and be thinking about the best way to kill them all the time."

She paused, frowning. "I'm still doing it. Right now. It's not... fun."

Jamie nodded his head slowly and thoughtfully. "Is there anything I can do help? Movie? Junk food? Puppet show?"

She almost asks for a sparring match, but given her mental state, that was probably a bad idea.

"Um... I just need to I don't know... get some of the violence out."

"Have you tried punching the heck out of the body bag down at the gym?" Jamie asked. "Or we could spar."

"Sparring... might not be a good idea," Cassandra frowned. "Too much instinct. Old instinct. Don't want to hurt you." The gym, however, sounded like a pretty good plan.

"That bad?" Jamie said looking concerned.

After a moment of silence she spoke again, "Every time I look at you I think of a new way to kill you." And no, she wasn't happy about that.

"Again a conversation topic that would bother a normal person," Jamie joked. "And yet somehow comforting here in fandom. I think a trip to the gym is in order. Need company?"

"I... maybe not this time. Next time?" She offered.

"No problem," Jamie said. "And... I don't know. Try something different if the bag doesn't help. Watch a reality talk show or something."

She quirked an eyebrow at him and shook her head, moving toward the door. Then she stopped suddenly and looked Jamie in the eye, "Thanks, Jamie."

"Not a problem, Cass," Jamie said with a grin. "Give me a call if it gets any worse. I'll let you kill a duplicate for fun."

He was joking. Really.

A hungry look flashed through her eyes, but she shook it off quickly and took a deep breath.

"I'll keep that in mind."
