Third Floor Common Room: Evening

Jamie has $999 worth of pudding.

It's a lot of pudding.

Currently he's cooking it and letting it chill. When it's done chilling a dupe takes it down the hallway to his room.

And the process repeats itself.

He could have just gotten $900 worth of pudding. But he had the $999 dollars. So he had to get all the pudding.

And the reason why? Well... It was best not shared.

Z peered into the common room. "Um. Betty? What the heck are you doing?"

"Making pudding. Duh," Jamie said as if this was the most obvious thing in the world.

"...that's a lot of pudding," Z observed. Way to state the obvious, Z.

"Care to wrestle in it?" Jamie said with a grin. "Kidding. Don't go all wire kung-fu on me."

"Maybe later," Z said with a small smile. "Dare I ask why you have so much pudding?"

"It's a top secret mission," Jamie said in a hushed tone and looking around to see if anyone was listening. "Can I trust you?"

"Don't make me kick your butt," Z told him in the same hushed voice. "Yes. Duh."

"It's a little gift for my roommate," Jamie explained. "It's a surprise gift."

"I see," Z said. "Does your roommate have a strange love for pudding, or are you just evil that way?"

"Me? Evil?" Jamie said holding up his pinkie finger to his mouth. "Maaaaaybe."

Okay, so this wasn't her floor, but Ino was bored and wandering so she found herself on the third floor and slipped into the common room. If they wanted her to leave, someone would tell her right?

Her eyes widened, "Please tell me you aren't going to eat all of that yourself."

"I have a tape worm," Jamie joked. "It prefers pudding and I want to keep it happy."

Ino wasn't quite sure what a tape worm was and she thought he was kidding but since this was Fandom... "... you're feeding a worm pudding?"

"Sure? Doesn't everyone?" Jamie said looking quizzical.

"I never considered the dietary needs of worms before." Ino replied with a smile, "I'm fairly sure though that pudding isn't on the list of things they eat in the wild."

"Well these worms live inside people," Jamie explained. "So pudding? Definitely on this list."

Ino wrinkled her nose, "That's disgusting," she paused, "Though I can kinda understand that reasoning. Ew. What's the pudding really for?"

Rikku poked her head in and stared.

And then, although she wasn't sure why, felt compelled to state, "Awwwwwww, yeah."

"I know what you're saying. You're saying 'That's a lot of pudding.'"

Rikku grinned. "You had the money. You had to have the pudding."

"Exactly," Jamie said holding his hand up for a high five. "It's a sticky but delicious job".

"You go with your pudding'd-out self," Rikku laughed, giving him the high-five. "Where's all the deliciousness going?"

"That's a sweet but secret mission," Jamie said looking mysterious.

"Oooooh." Rikku grinned, bouncing. "Are you doing something evil with it? That's awesome. Can I help?"
