Third Floor Common Room: Sunday Evening

Ron has been sitting in front of the TV for quite some time now. He seems to be entranced with a television show that deals with Aurors but in a muggle variety. They also seem to be obsessed with SUV's.

And there's a "DOINK DOINK" sound that keeps happening that appears to have some sort of hypnotic quality.

Peter wandered down the hall to the common room and saw the TV on. "Hey," Peter said. "Great show. That's just how it happens, only with less spandex."

Ron blinked. "Spandex? What's that? Some sort of car?"

"It's a fabric," Peter said. "Sorry, I was making a joke. It's a good show, though."

Chad probably shouldn't be up eating this late, but he was hungry, dammit, and headed to the common room for some food. He lifted his chin in greeting to everyone already there on his way over to the fridge, but stopped, blinking at the TV.

"What is this?" he asked, wondering if it was one of those shows that was the reason he didn't watch TV hardly at all, or if it was one of the reasons why he should be watching TV more often.

"Crime and Punishment, SUV," Ron said looking entranced by yet another "Doink-Doink". "It's about the police who investigate car crimes."

There was a long moment of staring. Yeah. That was probably going to go in Chad's file of reasons why he was going to continue his belief that there was nothing worthwhile on TV after all. And yet, oddly enough, there he was, grabbing a V-8 and a sammich from the fridge and going to (carefully) sit down in his usual, sturdy chair.

"Like what kinda car crimes?"

"Hey, Chad," Peter said. "It's good TV."

"You sure?" Chad asked with an arch of his eyebrow, and then wondering if he was in any place to talk, considering what he was watching yesterday. "And, hey, Peter. S'up?" Peter got another chin lift.

Naminé smiled at Chad. "How is His Majesty lately?"

"Hey, Naminé," Chad lifted his hand in a wave. "He's doin' good. I think he's still bitter, though, 'cause I thought he was a demon the other weekend."

In truth, however, Prince Oscar Pedro was still entirely unaware that Chad had ever thought him to be otherworldly devil spawn.

Adam had handwavily relaxed in his room for most of the day, except for when he'd gone to Flag Football.

He was in search of some food and company and had happened down onto the third floor.

"Hey Ron," Adam greeted his fake little brother, as he entered the common room. "Something good?" He gestured towards the television.

"Cop show," Ron replied. "The one that goes Doink-Doink."

"Oh cool," Adam admitted. "I don't think I've ever seen this one."

"Hey Adam," Peter greeted. "How've you been?"

"Hey Peter," Adam smiled. "I've been good, how about you?"

"Adam," Chad lifted his chin with a grunt of greeting. "S'up?"

Sulley came tearing into the room and took a dive behind the couch. There was now a big blue furball hiding behind the couch, his arms over his head.

"Sulley?" Ron said turning around to look over the couch with a concerned expression. "What's wrong?"

Peter wasn't sure what was going on here. "Hi," he said since his spider-sense wasn't going off.

Naminé blinked a few times. "Are you ... feeling all right?"

Naminé peered in, and then decided to take a seat close to the door. She pulled her sketchbook out. "Why does the television keep going 'CHUNG CHUNG'?"

"I'm not sure. They do it whenever they change a scene," Ron said with a shrug. "And I think it's more of a 'DOINK DOINK'."

Blackheart stalked into the common room, a snarl on his lips and a piece of parchment in his hand.

Letters from home never ceased to make him snarly. So he was going to take it out on the common room. It was going to be horrible and furious and absolutely terrifying.

And he'd do so just as soon as he was done sulking, which he did by glaring for a moment at the television, and then crossing his arms and glowering at the nearest wall.

Naminé lifted an eyebrow. "Are you all right?"

"It's a cop show," Ron said as a way of greeting Blackheart. "Care to watch?"
