Look, everybody needed some form of cake on their birthday even if they had to make it themselves. Which is why Meg was in the kitchen making her favorite type of cupcakes; chocolate with peanut butter icing. And since you couldn't just make one cupcake (unless you had an Easy Bake Oven) she was making a ton for those who wandered in the common room.

"Any special occasion?" My but those looked good.

"It's my birthday." she said proudly.

"Oh! Happy Birthday!" He dug into his grocery bag. "Here, have some...pizza rolls...ice cream...nachos...yeah that's it. Ice Cream sounds like the most appropriate."

Meg smiled. "Thank you! And you're right, I prefer the ice cream."

Meg was an ice cream fiend.

"I have, cookies and cream, and coffee. Which do you prefer? Answer quickly, we gotta get this stuff in the freezer before it becomes soup."

"Cookies and cream, definitely." she said.

Billy handed her the carton. "May I have a cupcake?"

"Sure, once they cool off." she said. "If I don't wait the icing will melt off when I put them on."

"Hmm, good reason. What are you using for icing?" He stashed the pizza rolls and coffee ice cream in the freezer.
