Second Floor Common Room - Thursday Evening

Look, everybody needed some form of cake on their birthday even if they had to make it themselves. Which is why Meg was in the kitchen making her favorite type of cupcakes; chocolate with peanut butter icing. And since you couldn't just make one cupcake (unless you had an Easy Bake Oven) she was making a ton for those who wandered in the common room.

"Yep." she said. "Chocolate ones. I'm Meg, by the way."

"Jack. Jack Burton" he said. "Chocolate cupcakes? Sounds great!"

"With peanut butter icing." she added. She looked at the timer on the oven. "They should be done any minute now."

"Chocolate and peanut butter? That's better than the chicken spaghetti I made yesterday," he said.

Because he, as a teenage boy, was thinking with his stomach.

"Need help?"

"I've got everything covered." she said, pointing at the bowl of finished icing. "Just waiting for the cupcakes to bake."

"They smell great," he said with a grin. He picked a good place to lounge and offer assistance later. Or just to eat a few.
