Second Floor Common Room - Saturday Evening

Meg decided to take advantage of the quiet common rooms (she figured everyone was hiding) by getting into the Halloween spirit early. She had turned down all the lights in the common room and was sprawled out on the couch, watching All Hallow's Eve. A bowl of popcorn was balanced on her stomach.

Was she trying to scare herself? Maybe.

Dean hadn't felt like doing the whole big crowd thing again tonight especially when he had radio later on, so he had given the park a pass. But he hadn't felt like staying in his room either so here he was wandering until he found an occupied common room.

"Hey," he greeted Meg, then glanced at the tv. "Oh, is that...?"

"A scary movie featuring a guy in a mask trying to off babysitters? Yes." Meg said. "I'm trying to get into the Halloween spirit."

"This movie is the reason I had to take my sister with me on my first babysitting job." Meg said, grabbing a handfull of popcorn. "Scared the hell out of me."

"Well, in the movie he's just a run of the mill psycho with an incredible threshold for pain." Meg said, remembering the needle through the eye scene towards the end of the movie. "So let's go with that."

Billy figured there was less chance of being discovered if he wasn't in his own common room. He wasn't meaning to sneak, really. But he was trying to hide, and he was a trained ninja.
