The Stables: Monday at sunset

After a day spent in town, getting pats and treats enough to convince him he'd been a Very Good Horse Indeed, Trenor was back in his stall.

Kind of bored and a bit restless.

His feed wasn't very interesting after the Cold Stuff, so he ignored it in favour of hanging his head over the stall door, ears flicking back and forth as he peered around the stable.

[ooc: Post is for one person in particular, and is NFB.]

Jim walked over to the stables. The only time he had ever been here was the other night before stopping by Stinson's office. Then it was because his drunken friends seemed to think it was a good idea. This time he didn't know why he was here. All he knew was that he was drawn to the horse but not in a Harry Potter kind of way.

"Hey, Trenor," Jim said.

And then something happened. As the sun went down, his clothes changed to be as dark as the now night sky. Suddenly a really awesome cape found its way onto his back. His head turned into a jack o'lantern with an unearthly glow lighting his eyes and mouth. He was no longer Jim Halpert. He was now the Pumpkinhead Horseman. Well, he would be if he had a horse. And, hey, there was a horse right here.

The Pumpkinhead Man-in-need-of-a-horse reached forward to pat Trenor.

The smile seemed to grow even though it totally didn't. Because a jack o'lantern with a moving face was simply ludicrous.

The Pumpkinhead Horseman mounted his Steed of Evil and rode out into the night, cackling an evil cackle.

The night of the Pumpkinhead Horseman had begun.
