There was a large amount of various tinned vegetables in the cupboards, and River had arranged all of them on the kitchen worktop. The arrangement was a complicated one, organising the cans according to size, colour of labels and content, but none of them passed the test. Instead she decided to make another fruit salad, and proceeded to finely chop all the fresh fruit available, placing it in a large bowl. Especially the chopping up of some big bananas made her grin, thinking about the conversation she had had with Mary at the hotel on Friday.

"Take over his mind?" River raised an eyebrow, giving up pretending she wasn't able to hear what went on in Ino's mind. Still, certain things needed clarification and context, especially if the person was unfamiliar to her.

Ino twitched at that, but her answering look was steady. "Possession." She said simply, letting her mind briefly range over how it worked, "It's a family technique used for reconnaissance and assassination." How better to kill someone than from inside their own body? "I don't use it for fun." Ino said firmly, "Only when I'm ordered to, in training, or my life is in danger." Though Master Skywalker had said not to use it even then, while at Fandom.

River knew how people sometimes reacted to have her in their head, and she was only able to listed. Possession was another thing. Instinctively her guard went up, even if she wasn't sure the barriers around her mind was enough to protect from something like that. And Ino did not seem threatening.

"I can see why Anakin said that," she replied quietly.
