Second floor common room, Tuesday Morning

Irulan settled on the sofa and sipped her spice laced coffee, this was probably the first day where Irulan finally shook off the shadow of her Reverend Mother. She knew that she would be married off someday but to learn that the Reverend Mother and quite possibly her father already had suitors in mind was enough to shake her.

She just had her first kiss for goddess' sake!

This settles it then, from this day forth she will go on and try enjoying her life, after this Irulan knew life would be far too complicated to comprehend.

"You can have coffee," she offered again.

"You know what goes great with coffee?" he asked, as the sounds and smells of skillet-frying bacon filled the room. "A bacon sandwich. Ever have one?"

Coffee, bacon, and he didn't even feel like an idiot. Today was loads better than yesterday.
