The Roof, After Sunset
Andrew had spent most of the day cloaked in shadows, walking about the island and thinking of how pathetic his life used to be. "I shouldn't have come back. Attending the reunion was a foolish idea."
A dark and disembodied voice answered him back, saying in a drawn-out whisper, "But speak the words and Master will be away from here. Time and space are nothing to Rubicante."
"No," Andrew replied. "I'll play out these memories -- see what lies at the end of this little cosmic hoax."
"Ut vos votum," the voice replied.
"That's right. As I wish." Andrew spoke a few guttural words in a language long dead and the shadows lifted, taking the source of the voice with it.
He stood there, aged but a little, and looked out over the island. To those who can sense such things, even the air about him seemed to ripple with dark malevolence.
[ooc: Roof open! Feel free to chat up the Andrew.]

Just a small sample of all that would one day be his.
If only that pesky other source of dark malevolence wasn't there spoiling his moment of basking in his evil plans.
He looked over at the individual who was sharing this malevolent moment with a raised eyebrow.
"Good view."
no subject
"Enjoying yourself, Blackheart?"
no subject
He returned his gaze to the view of the island.
"I suppose I should know you?"
no subject
He turned towards his little sib. "I haven't grown that old in appearance, have I?" He had a demon servant that made sure of that.
no subject
"Andrew." No, he really hadn't changed too much, had he? The aura was somewhat different, but outwardly he was rather recognizable, after all. "Keeping tabs on me, hm? Have I been up to anything interesting?"
A smirk graced his lips. He was hoping for something simple. Like world conquest, perhaps. Hell on Earth would be nice.

Andrew smirked, "It still cracks me up, thinking of you here, taking classes, working in a clothing boutique."
no subject
Blackheart scowled somewhat.
"Passing the time in a clothing boutique," he hissed, deciding that, no matter how useful his big brother here might be, he distinctly did not like him once that 'grown up with a mind of his own' stage hit.

"YOU."
It was a statement, a marker of surprise, and a threat all in one.
no subject
No, the somewhat angry looking rider who had addressed him.
Well, it hadn't taken long for his father to send one of his toys to the island after all, had it? But Blackheart didn't seem terribly concerned.
"It's rude to point, Rider," he stated, smirking somewhat.
no subject
"What are you doin' back up here, Blackheart? I thought your Dad dragged you back down to Hell after that last fight."
He hoped that Mephistopheles wasn't around somewhere. He really didn't want to have to face the guy who owned his soul again for a long, long time.
no subject
Because he was never going to be bested by a Rider.
But, rather than protest, Blackheart gave a dismissive shrug of his shoulders.
"I'm just that resilient," he stated evenly.
Riders. How cute.
no subject
"So, what're you doin' here?" he asked instead. "Tryin' to steal a contract?"

He nodded to the man already up there in a distantly polite way. "Hi."
no subject
"Hello."
no subject
"You like lookin' at the stars too?" he asked, as a way of making small talk.
no subject
"I keep my sights a little closer to home. For now."
