Dorm Lobby, Tuesday Afternoon

Robin the roving reporter, had set up shop in the Lobby with the camera from Pop Culture.

He was hoping to interview students on a certain topic, and had a sign in front of him proclaiming;

PIRATES VS. NINJAS, WHERE DO YOU STAND?

"Ninjas," Sokka answered.

He used his mad ninja-ing skillz to create a shadow clone (Hey! More than 3/4 of a clone this time!), which then nodded. "Totally," agreed the second Sokka.

Robin recorded the whole thing. "Oh wow! That was neat! I can see how that would be an advantage."

"Far far away" Jack said.

"Hee! That's a really, really good answer." Robin giggled.

Jack was confused. Shut up, this was new. Really. "What's this pirates and ninjas thing?"

"Well, as I've learned since coming here, Pirates and Ninjas, are natural enemies, like cats and dogs, and Mongeese and snakes."

"I've never heard of this," stated Jack, wondering what would happen if monkeys and robots started fighting.

"It was the first I heard of it myself when I got here." Robin nodded. "I'm not entirely sure why they're like that."

"Is it like a feud or something?"

"I think so. Maybe it's one of those things that no one even remembers why they're fighting."

"Does it happen often? Cuz that sounds neato to watch!" he said. "Front row seats!"

"Well on talk like a pirate day me and Billy sort of made fun of it, but I haven't seen it for real yet."

"I still wanna see it. Do we have pirates and ninja on this island?" He was grinning in near-dangerous-like magnitudes.

"Uhm, well I think the pirate's back at the radio station, and I believe there's at least two ninjas still around."

"There's real pirates and ninjas? Who?" He was not bouncing. Really. Okay, maaaybe slightly.

"Well I know Billy's a ninja, and the guy who runs the radio station is a pirate. I think his name's Barbossa."

"REAlly? There are pirates and ninja here on the island? THat's so cool!"

"It really is." Robin agreed. "There might be more than those too."

"That's great!"

He thought for a second. "How do we know if there are? And who they are? Wait for something to be ninja'd or for someone to say 'avast' a lot?"

"Huh, I don't know. Billy's tricky cause he's a ninja, but he has an eyepatch."

"Wouldn't that mean he's a pirate?"

"You'd think so, but he insists he's a ninja."

"Or a pirate ninja. Hrm. Wonder if they exist?"

"Could be. Maybe that's what Billy is. Or maybe a Ninja Pirate."
