Fifth Floor Common Room, Thursday Afternoon Into The Evening

There was a stack of horror movies by the television.

And a couple Britt Ekland ones. Just to even it all up.

Jeff was seated on the couch, surrounded by soda and popcorn, and holding a very large binder of something or other.

He was prepared. Very prepared. Capital Jeff Prepared.

River slumped down next to Jeff on the couch and reached for the popcorn. She picked up a Britt Ekland DVD. "Breasts?" she asked.

"I am so over studying right now. Bring on the movie fest!" Andrew exclaimed, plopping down on the sofa.

"Breasts," Jeff nodded, enthusiastically.

"I have popcorn," Jeff announced, "There are drinks." He waved his folder around enthusiastically. "We are not to remember any classes tonight." Pause. "Not that I have trouble with that usually, but more in a general sort of context."

River smiled cheerfully. "Other qualities too?"

"Look at you being all prepared!" Andrew was impressed. He pulled a packet of pop-tarts out of his pocket. They were bent in such a way as to pretty much guarantee a shower of pop-tart crumblets when he opened them.

"I brought provisions, too," he said with a frown.

"Legs," Jeff said. "Thighs. Gusset. Rear cleavage."

"It's important to be prepared," Jeff espoused, "What with it being movie night and everything. Well, technically right now it's more sort of a movie afternoon, but that's why you've got to be prepared. Provisions!"

He had just gone in a little circle. Possibly.

"Voice?" River suggested. "Massive amounts of blonde hair?"

River smiled at Andrew. "No tree to climb."

Jeff waved his hands in a 'sort of, sort of' kind of gesture. "Cleft," he decided.

River nodded knowingly. "Is there a plot?" she asked, holding up the DVD.

"So what movie will we be watching first, sir?" Andrew asked. "I trust that you've picked out some truly groundbreaking cinema for us this, um, afternoon."

Andrew smiled back. "I'm opting to keep my feet on the ground for a while. Tree climbing is great and all, but only when you have an expert there to help you out."

"Well," Jeff said, paused, then repeated, "Well. There should be, shouldn't there?"

Jamie should be studying for finals.

Technically he is as there's a dupe in his room that's supposed to be studying.

Which allows this Jamie to grab a spot on the sofa.

"Cool! Movies! What's on?"

"Assault of the Really Tall Women," Jeff gladly divulged, giving Jamie the thumbs up upon arrival. "The uncut version!" he grinned.

"Oooo!" Jamie said kicking up his feet on the coffee table. "Are the tall women really angry. There's nothing like a tall angry woman. Or at least that's why I assume they are assaulting."

"It it possible. You forgot to pay attention?" River raised an eyebrow.

Andrew nodded his approval. "Classically awesome." He could definitely see how this would appeal to Jeff.

"Lot of, um, leg there."

River let out a giggle and threw a popcorn at Andrew.

Jeff eyed the screen. "Right now," he divulged, "The really tall women appear to have achieved of mild annoyance."

"Well," Jeff allowed, "She is very tall. Of course the legs would compensate on the amount scale."

"I may have fast-forwarded it the first couple of times," Jeff granted, with, to his credit, some slight embarrasment.
