First floor lobby: Saturday, all day

The cheerfully decorated tree had pride of place in the lobby, and it was looking particularly cheerful this morning.

Hanging from every branch were mini plum puddings, apparently having sprouted over night, wrapped up in red cloth and suspended by a shiny ribbon. You couldn't tell by looking at them, but they were the tastiest plum pudding that ever produced by a semi-sentient tree.

Which isn't saying much, granted, but despite that, they were, in fact, extremely tasty.

The tree was obviously proud of its efforts, as whenever anyone walked past, it stretched out a branch, waving the tempting treat in their direction.

Jeff, as was his wont, was not at all surprised by the plum puddings when he passed into the lobby during the morning.

Which is to say he walked in, paused for a moment, shrugged mildly and picked one.

"Huh." They were good.
