Fifth Floor Common Room, Early Sunday Afternoon
After ascertaining his roomie was a total freak, Reno had decided that he had to get out of his room for a bit, stretch his legs, and get himself something to eat.
So there he was in the fifth-floor common room, a bowl of nuked noodles in his hand. The only thing that could have completed the meal would have been some sort of booze, but he'd take what he could get. Maybe he'd stop by that place with the zombies that didn't card, later.
For now, he was going to just pace about anxiously. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was something up, and Turk instinct had him paranoid that he might have been followed, for whatever reason.

At some point -- as it happened, while he was in the middle of scratching himself in places not normally scratched in public -- he realized there was someone else there. "HI!" he said, with a beet-red smile.

He nodded at the TV -- which caused Momo Jr. to do a header into the pile of pizza -- and asked, "Nothing good on?"

It seemed important to point this out. He hadn't been awake for long yet today, either.

He looked down at Momo Jr., who was trying to do the backstroke on the pile of pizza and failing miserably. "Chinchilla. Like a rat-hamster, but bigger. ...And yeah, I noticed. Kind of hard not to."

In his mind, however, he was currently a super spy. He peered into the doorway of the common room ever so slightly, shiftily searching the room for signs of Reno.
AHA, he noted mentally, He's holding COMMONER RAMEN! We've already got something in common! He would have shouted out in excitement were he not trying so hard to hide. Unfortunately for him, the sight of his most beloved commoner ramen reminded him that he hadn't yet broken his fast. As a result, his stomach loudly protested.

He was looking a little more antsy than before, for whatever reason.

"Are you ... feeling okay?"

Glancing nervously at Rikku, he shook his head. he whispered conspiratorially, his back seemingly becoming twitchy from being so rigidly molded against a hard surface.

She leaned over and lowered her voice. "Is the common room plotting against you?"

He looked wildly about before inching closer to the door frame, peering in again to see what Reno was doing.

"Hiya!" she waved to Reno, and then gave him an odd look. "You, uh, you okay?"
no subject
"I could ask you the same, yo." He shoved a mouthful of noodles into his mouth and chewed at them thoughtfully. "Still standin', so I can't complain."

He kind of grit his teeth and made a face as he swallowed his ramen.
"Looks at me funny. Don't much care for that, yo."
