The Roof, Late Saturday Night
It was cloudy, and it was cold, but Demyx was in a good mood. He let his sitar vanish into nothing, and ran-skipped over to the edge of the roof instead. "Man, this place is seriously the best," he said to nobody, looking down over the railing at the school grounds.
At this moment, he didn't know how anything could be better than it was. He wasn't even thinking about Fandom wacky.
(for a couple someones in particular, but the roof is open, as it is a rooooooof~)

After all, when you wake up on an island with no recollection of how the heck you got there in the first place, looking around sooner or later becomes a priority.
And again, he'd run out of tequila.
He stepped out of a whorl of darkness onto the roof of the building- what better way to take in one's surroundings than by getting up high for the view, after all?
Which is where he noticed yet another insane blond.
Axel was having one of those days, apparently.
"Yo!" He leaned forward and considered for a moment. "Don't tell me you just happened to wake up here, too?"

"Last I checked, yes. Some guy who insists that I'm his drunken roomie wants to disagree." He crossed his arms in front of his chest. "So, you manage to lose all concept of time? Couldn't possibly be that long."

"Yes, I'm here. I really am. It might be a difficult notion to understand? But I'm not sure how."
What. The. Heck. Demyx?

"No?"
He was going to him himself a quick pat-down, just to be sure, here.
Yeah. No. not dead.

"Yo. I'm here. And you're clinging to me." Twitch. Twitch. "Dare I ask why?"
Axel had personal space issues to deal with. Larxene having her hands all over his face was bad enough.
...
He was being hugged.

"Okay." Axel didn't look entirely convinced, really. If Demyx had lost to Sora, he was pretty sure he'd have heard about it at some point. And that Demyx wouldn't be standing here having this... fuzzy, heartfelt conversation.
Axel was ever the skeptic. So sue him?
"And here is...?"

Everyone else. Definitely.
"I'm not going to go to classes, you know."
No. Way.

"Notes. That'll be a huge help, I'm sure." Just what he needed? Notes? "I think I'll take my chances with the crazy guy who thinks I'm some kid named Reno. There's some interesting stuff in 'Reno's nightstand."
After all, he'd only run out of tequila.

...Another minute...
It wasn't long before he couldn't stand it anymore, and was poking Axel in a 'zomg you're real' sort of manner.

Axel shifted his weight away from the prodding hand. Then, as an afterthought, prodded Demyx right back.
What. The. Heck.

"I don't think you're crazy," he said, raising an eyebrow. "I know."

It was freeeezing outside, and here he was an island boy was heading up to the roof to be out in the wind... and the cold. There had to be a good reason for it.
"Oh hey Demyx," He shivered slightly seeing the spazzy Organization member, not seeing the other one next to him at first. "It's cold up here."
no subject
"Yo!" He was pretty sure that the kid wouldn't remember him, at any rate. Not if things were all sorted out nice and clean. So waving and grinning wasn't going to do any harm.
Waaait a moment... How the heck did Sora know Demyx?

Or there was something here that he was totally missing?
Or something?
"That's what I'd like to know?" He stared at Sora for a moment, his mind trying to figure out for the life of him how in the world this even worked. "You know, when I said 'got it memorized,' to you that time? I wasn't expecting you to still remember my name."
This was delivered about as coolly as possible, all things considered.

He was gonna need it. "I'm from the furture for you. Yes, Naminé fixed me memories, I was locked up in a pod thing for a year until Roxas joined back up with me, at which point in time I woke up and fought through your Organization to stop Xemnas and save the world, again."
no subject
"Roxas?"
Wait. What?
"Roxas... joined back up with you?"
What?
...
What?

A freaking high school?!
"No," he said again. "No. It doesn't." He narrowed his eyes and held his hands to his sides. "And it won't. Your future sucks. Mine won't."
Fire. He liked fire. There could be lots of fire. All over the place. And in his hands? Two very large shuriken. They were spinny. The look of rage on Axel's face while he twirled them in his fingers had shifted to an expression of perhaps sadistic joy.

The roof! The roof! The roof is on fire!"Axel, stop it!" Demyx shouted, pulling his sitar out of the air and quickly playing a string of notes. Water splashed down over everything, including the raging redhead, to extinguish at least some of the flames. "Cut it OUT!!"

which amazingly didn't scorch!.But that didn't mean he couldn't beat their faces in with his shuriken. They were still spinny.
The soggy, angry redhead, therefore, raised the blades, one after the other. One to throw at Sora. One to throw at Demyx. Damn the both of them! He wasn't going to die, and Roxas was no traitor! He didn't need to burn them to make them eat their words!

Friends. That's great. Because right now, that's just what he needed to hear. Good friends with Sora, who's going to someday take back Roxas, who leaves the Organization and everyone dies. Great.
"The future sucks, but at least we can be friends?" Axel didn't want to hear it. "I'm not buyin' it." The chakram vanished from his hands, and he stood up straight. "I'm telling you now, it just doesn't work that way."
Black wisps of darkness licked at his feet. He had to get out of here. Somewhere else. Anywhere. And, of course, as the darkness swallowed him up, just his voice was left lingering behind him. "Got it memorized?"
