Fifth Floor Common Room - Saturday Morning - 02/02/08
Tamaki had been a little lonely in an empty dorm room, so he'd made his way down to the common room to see if anyone was around. Reno was off at Merc Con, so he'd had nobody at all to talk to.
He sat on the couch, munching on a bowl of sugary cereal and jotting down notes for what would be his very first Host Club meeting on Sunday. He even had a few doodles of possible costume themes in the notebook, although they looked like Kindergarten crayon scribbles.
[OOC: Open because that's what common rooms are. Reno's absence modded with permission!]

Valentine was wandering aimlessly.
His aimless wanderings led him all the way up to the fifth floor common room, which was quite the trek up the stairs, really.
This called for an invasion of whatever foodstuff seemed most convenient. Aha! That boy over there had cereal-things! He'd just sneak a little closer. Yes. Yes indeed. And investigate the cereal. It looked good. Perhaps he would have to procure a bowlful for himself.

But even people were were slippery like slippy things had to just ask, sooner or later.
"Might I ask," he ventured, "where I might get some of that?"
no subject
"Uh," he added hastily, "I bought it! It's in the cupboard if you want some, ahaha..." He had, indeed,
handwavilybeen to the store to figure out what commoner foods he'd wanted to try next, and Fortunate Trinkets had such a colorful and happy box that he'd had no choice but to purchase the cereal. Hey, it wasn't half bad, either.no subject
"Commoner cereal?" He wasn't certain if he was supposed to be as exciting as this boy was, or insulted, really. But the offer had been presented. And there was free food to be had, so over to the cupboards Valentine ventured, returning shortly afterward with a bowlful for himself. "What makes it so common, dare I ask?"

See, he could be pleasant. Wasn't that remarkable?

Perhaps they ought to dress Sokka as a turnip, instead.

"Have you not been to bed this night?"

He had been in Fandom long enough that he was used to most students taking his face for granted. He'd hardly been subjected to the newbies yet, so this was a topic he was ill-prepared for. Oh my.

"My face, you mean? Don't waste your breath with apologies. I can't stand them."
[OOC: RL happens. Here for slowplay for great justice. <3]

"No?" He replied, somewhat bewildered by the 'crazy stalker boy' comment. Tamaki's mind was very much like a sieve with exceptionally large holes, and he no longer remembered how he'd stalked Reno across campus on his second day in Fandom. He couldn't help it, really, he was just... Tamaki.
Still, after the original befuddled reaction had worked its way through his system, he recovered and smiled at Sokka. "Good morning, fellow student!"

He raised his right index finger, wagging it from side to side. "No, we haven't yet," he replied, smiling deviously at Sokka, "However, we did participate in a most delightful dessert topping slip and slide (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/1294767.html) with Ferris. Surely that counts as something."
He made a mental note that he should probably give Ferris a call one of these days. He wanted to hang out with his cheerful buddy again!

He swallowed. "I saw you in gun club, did I not?"

That was what the club was called, but still.
He decided not to, mostly. "And did I turn into a girl during the night? I missed it, if I did."

"G'day," he greeted everyone in general, before beginning to peel the orange in a long spiral.
