Second Floor Common Room, Monday Evening
Andrew was fixing some fine food: tomato soup and grilled cheese. An American classic. There was a fairly large pot of the soup, and he had enough bread and cheese to share if anyone else was hungry.
There was also some groovy Latin jazz playing, and he was dancing about the kitchen, head bobbing and hips swaying -- sometimes in time with the music. Life was good.

He had a number of romantic notions about the structures.
"Oh! What about like catapults or trebuchets?"
no subject
He shrugged.
"The stones remembered a lot, however."

Andrew was very interested in Liir's work. He really wanted to see him succeed with his invention.

"Stones are good at it," he said. "Which is sort of why I thought crystals might work for my project."
no subject
He plated up another sandwich. "Do you want another?"
no subject
"Not, but some soup might be nice."
He'd gotten to the point where he didn't immediately scarf down any food nearby out of fear he wouldn't get any more.
"That would be nice. Though the crystal should work. Some from Professor Ambrose's order might work better. I'll just have to see."
no subject
"Do you like crackers with your soup?" he asked. "I think there are some in the cabinet."
no subject
"There. That should do," he said with a faint smile. He didn't like to waste.

He grabbed one and walked over to share Liir's perch. "So, I was thinking, if you wanted, maybe you could stay over again tonight? I sleep much better when you're there."
That is, of course, when they got around to the sleeping bit.
no subject
"If it helps you sleep."
Though the strange dreams kept happening in Andrew's room. But it couldn't be Andrew's room. Andrew didn't deal with memories or his oddness. He'd... test it tonight.
By sleeping there. Dammit.
"I'd love to. I just need to remember to bring a change for class tomorrow. I'm TA for Miss Lulu's class."

He smiled to himself, thrilled that Liir would be with him again tonight.
"Is the soup okay?"
no subject
"It's very good," he said with a faint smile.
no subject
"If I had thought about it, I would have gotten stuff to make funnel cakes for desert," he said.
"Guess that will just have to wait for another day."
no subject
"How was your day? Other than waking up with me and going to Inventiontronics."
Which reminded him that he had to talk to Andrew about last night.
no subject
He smiled at Liir. "All in all, a good day."
A great day.

He was teasing, gently.
And avoiding the topic.
no subject
He leaned over and quickly nuzzled his shoulder.
no subject
He'd talk to Andrew another day. Andrew was happy right now.
