Chad was making soup for his lunch, and Prince Oscar Pedro was helping. Helping, apparently, meant curling up on the counter amongst all of the light scattering of tools and supplies and ingredients that Chad was using, chewing on a sprig of parsley with his naked rat tail flopping happily, barely avoiding knocking over a stirring spoon, purring up a storm, while Chad talked to him in Japanese, waxing on ideas for what to maybe do for Teddy for Valentine's Day. Chad wasn't exactly finding Prince Oscar Pedro helpful on the matter, as he wasn't doing anything more the sitting there, purring, chewing, unless Chad asked a question about the soup instead of about love, at which case the kitten would let out a meow for or against adding onions or more carrots.
