Around Campus: Monday Evening

In hindsight? It was a stupid bet. Ron should have known better than to trust Sokka to be honorable. Unfortunately, Ron has no proof that Sokka cheated.

Which is why Ron is currently standing out in the cold in only his underwear and about to start his run around campus.

"This has got to be the stupidest thing I ever done," he muttered to himself as he started to run.

"No, see, THAT would have been making the bet in the first place," Sokka told him, with a grin.

"I know you bloody well cheated!" Ron puffed as he tried to keep warm. "I just can't prove it!"

"I bribed no one," Sokka declared haughtily. He started running himself to catch up. "They swooned over me of their own free will."

Well, Sokka had said he'd be here, which was why Rikku was out and munching on some popcorn.

Some things required popcorn.

"Shouldn't you go off and swoon on someone!" Ron shouted back. "It's your fault I'm out here!"

"Not my fault!" she said sweetly, waving. "I don't let my mouth write checks my ass can't cash."

"You plan ahead much better than I do. Share some popcorn?"

"Of course!" Rikku grinned. "We owe you, after all, for making this happen, right?"

Turtle was leaving the dorms, on her way to the radio station to do some prep-work for the broadcast tonight.

She was wishing she'd have timed this better.

"Oh, God." Her hand instantly went over her eyes, but it was all for naught. Ron was so pale that he nearly glowed in this light, thus perminantly burning the image into her eyes.

"Blame Sokka!" Ron grumbled as he dashed by. "This is all his fault!"

"I don't even want to know!" Turtle called out, eyes still covered. "I don't even want to know! Oh. My. God."

"... Oh, man! I should have stopped by the store for popcorn and Squishies!"

"Sokka," Turtle groaned, recognizing him only on the merits of his voice, as her hands were still over her eyes. "Can't talk. I think I've gone blind."

Barney had no good reason for being around campus, and yet there he was. "Forget clothes this morning, Weasley?"

"Shut up!" Ron shouted. "I lost a stupid bet!"

"While I'm sure they'd appreciate your enthusiasm, I doubt the chicks of this school would be impressed by your current state of undress," Barney told him, making a face and shuddering a bit. "At least you have the excuse of the cold air..."

"All my doing," Sokka said, raising his hand for a high five.

Barney was always willing to accept a high five for a job well done. "Let's hope not, ponytail," Barney said, trying to overlook his disdain for the boy's appearance in appreciation for his prank.

Sky was coming back from a handwavey trip to Pizza Planet for dinner when he spotted Ron. And he couldn't help but stop and stare, mouth slightly open.

Sulley had no idea what his roomie was doing, but he was all about being supportive. "Run, Ron, run! You can do it!" Whatever 'it' was.
