Second Floor Common Room, Wednesday Night
Naminé had spread a large canvas over most of the floor in the common room. Around the edges there were paints, brushes, charcoals, crayons, colored pencils, all sorts of moddable art supplies.
Near one edge she was working on a sketch of a tree, and a rather-less-white-than-before gorgeous long-haired cat was wandering through the center, tracking some (non-toxic and safe for cats) paint-covered pawprints as she went.
Art, Naminé felt, was best expressed as chaos.
(Very open, as common rooms are! Come make art.)

Even if he couldn't precisely find it. Working his way down, he was on the second floor when at last he spotted life in a common room.
No food, but life nonetheless. Sighing and abandoning his quest, he went to get some chips out of a cupboard before curiosity overtook him, and he asked ...
"Good e'en, Namine. What kind of project is this?"

She nodded to the pure-white cat, who was now scratching the edge of the paper and chewing on it.

He put down his chips and picked up a marker. "I don't usually make art, but i can try not to deface the paper too badly."

It would almost seem like she was ignoring the other girl entirely if it weren't for the fact that, just when the moment stretched toward that point, she pushed off the doorframe, heavily, like her thin body contained too much weight, and limped into the room. Carefully, using an arm of a chair to help her, she lowered herself down, not too far away from the other girl, in front of a small box of oil crayons. She quietly glanced over the space in front of her, judging it, measuring it, deciding how best to use it, and then picked up a bright green color and leaned in, close, dark hair practically touching the sheet of canvas as it tumbled forward, and started to make a long, curving line.

The second floor common room was on the way, so he figured, eh, why not. If it didn't excite him, after all, he could always leave.
"Lookin' colorful, Naminé." He grinned as he looked over the canvas. "Nice."
