Mister Doom was feeling extra happy tonight. So happy, in fact, that he felt the need to bake cupcakes. No, he didn't - strictly speaking - know HOW to bake cupcakes, but he was Doom. He knew all kinds of stuff. Maybe he just forgot that he knew how to make them.

That was not at all the case. These were some nasty looking cupcakes. So he put extra chocolate frosting on them in hopes that it would make everything better.

Satisfied with his effort, Doom put up a glittery green sign next to the cupcakes.

"DOOMCAKES! BETTER THAN THEY SOUND! AND LOOK!"

After her workout at the gym, Hoshi stopped in the common room before heading back to room 423.

"Are you off the happy pills yet?"

"Doom takes no pills," Doom said. "But I am still happy! How are you tonight, friend?"

"I'm good. Kind of calm, actually," said Hoshi. "Um, you're not going to go all emo on me, are you? Because if you are, I think I need to leave now."

"How could Doom emo?" Doom asked. "There are DOOMCAKES. Give me the name of one person who could emo in the face of DOOMCAKES and Doom will sincerely doubt your truthfulness."

Jack waved to Hoshi, a bit sheepishly.

"Hey," said Hoshi. "Are you feeling any better?"

"Yes," he said, not blushing. Really. "Thanks for, you know, talking."

Jamie wandered into the common room and stared at the sign.

Then at Doom.

Then at the cupcakes.

"Vic? You feeling all right?"

"Better than all right," Doom said, raising his hand for his buddy from his future. "Doom feels like a high five! Come on, Jamie. High five Doom!"

Jamie continued to stare at Doom.

"Why? So you can zap me with your hidden laser or something?"

Sokka grinned. "Madrox! You haven't met the new Mister Doom yet? Sometimes Fandom does awesome, awesome things."

Jamie shook his head. "It's not Fandom. It's a nefarious plot of his," he replied. "Somehow this all figures into his plot to take over the world."

Every time Sokka thought von Doom had gone to the absolute limit of gremlin-bit, he got weirder. Still, this was MUCH better than the old Doom, and that was reason enough to encourage it.

"DOOM!" He grinned. "Doom baked Doomcakes! That's AWESOME!!! Sokka would like a Doomcake! And a high five!"

Naomi had been wandering the floors in search of a common room that had people in it and she ended up stopping by the fourth floor common room.

"DOOMCAKE, friend?" Doom offered.

"Hey Naomi!" said Hoshi. "I'm headed to San Francisco for spring break."
