Fourth Floor Common Room, Saturday Night

Billy had a whole mess of snacks and drinks ready. Soda in the fridge, ice cream and hot pockets in the freezer, pizza rolls warming in the oven, and chips, and candy set out on the table.

There was a sign on the door proclaiming:

LEAVE YOUR EMO AT THE DOOR.
ht
And there was a stack of DVD's on the TV:
The GooniesThe Outcasts
The Breakfast ClubThe Brunch Association
Can't Hardly WaitImpatient
Better Off DeadLife is Good
Get Over ItRecover
The Princess BrideClassic Adventure Story

And more moddable choices.

He hoped people would show up.

Jack? So there. Emo? Was mostly gone.

"Comedies are good. Very good. Got anything good?"

"Pop it in, see what it's about."

Hopefully, it wouldn't have any kissy bits.

Which is how it should be because KISSING WAS EVIL. Sometimes.

As long as there was a lot of action in The Outcasts.
...not that action. That sort of action would be best viewed on a personal TV in a dorm.

But action? Pirates and ninjas and jewelry and fighting The Man? Alllll good.

Booty was nice. Boobie traps? He'd had enough of that for a while.

But if it's a good movie, then...

[off to be social! akf]

Awesome! Put it on and let's watch the pants dance!

"Did they make a sequel to this?" Cuz the one girl is hot.

"Would be neat to see what happened to them--oh, come on, this isn't even realistic," Jack proclaimed. "There's no way they'd take that long just to open a gate!"

Sokka poked his head in the room. "Ooh, I smell FOOD!!!"

He grinned, waved, and helped himself to pizza rolls and candy. "So, what are we watching?"

[identity profile] inthereflexes.livejournal.com 2008-02-24 04:48 pm (UTC)(link)
"Sokka!" Jack shouted, with a grin. "Don't steal all the food."

Because Jack wanted half of it.

[identity profile] sarcasm-guy.livejournal.com 2008-02-24 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
"It's not 'stealing' if it's free, is it?"

[identity profile] inthereflexes.livejournal.com 2008-02-24 11:16 pm (UTC)(link)
"It's stealing if you take all of it and don't leave me any," he pointed out like a pointing thing.

[identity profile] sarcasm-guy.livejournal.com 2008-02-25 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
"But NOT," Sokka counterpointed, "NOT if I take most of it and leave you SOME."

[identity profile] inthereflexes.livejournal.com 2008-02-25 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
"Right!" Jack agreed. "Not if you leave me half. Then it's not stealing!" See? Compromise.

Sokka settled in to watch. It was a pretty decent movie. Not enough explosions, though.
