This had to be the weirdest cartoon Rikku had ever watched. They were all weird yellow spotted animals fighting in an army with really bad dialogue and ... that episode was totally just a commercial for breakfast food. Then there was an educational segment about ... Peer-2-Teen Life Choices? Uh. At least the Thanksgiving special was pretty rockin. And then some guy sang a song about Spring Break! She was going to be singing that all week! "Kids, don't play with too many knives!" See? Informative and educational.

The common room was wide open, and Rikku was bouncing around with snacks watching a Cheat Commandos marathon.

Romeo was packed for the trip.

Romeo was ready to celebrate.

He wandered down to the third floor common room. "Rikku! You have to tell me what we're watching," he greeted, mesmerized by the screen.

"Romeo!" She giggled. "I have no idea! Those little yellow animal-things are fighting a war except they're really just ... fighting against the other little yellow dudes? And it's all crazy weird and it's awesome."

"I will take your word for it," Romeo said, settling in to watch.

"You seem happier," he added, softly.

"I love the weird things they show on TV," she laughed. "And, uh, I'm out a few of my good explosives. Apparently they make for impressive bribes?" She smiled. "He'll be back in the morning."

"Then the bribes were well-received," Romeo said. "Excellent. I hope they still let him on the trip."

"It's crappy timing," she frowned. "Kinda feel bad being all, hey, you're back, I'm going to Mexico. But I wasn't going to sit around and mope, you know? I did that last time. It sucked."
