Third Floor Common Room, Tuesday Evening

This had to be the weirdest cartoon Rikku had ever watched. They were all weird yellow spotted animals fighting in an army with really bad dialogue and ... that episode was totally just a commercial for breakfast food. Then there was an educational segment about ... Peer-2-Teen Life Choices? Uh. At least the Thanksgiving special was pretty rockin. And then some guy sang a song about Spring Break! She was going to be singing that all week! "Kids, don't play with too many knives!" See? Informative and educational.

The common room was wide open, and Rikku was bouncing around with snacks watching a Cheat Commandos marathon.

("Cheat Commandos" is a fictional show from the Homestar Runner universe.)

Romeo grinned at Sokka. "You watch it a lot, then?"

"Uh... No. Never seen it before in my life. But it's AWESOME. Total. Awesome."

Romeo wasn't sure he trusted Sokka's judgment, but he liked the enthusiasm, so he plopped down on the couch.

"They're very ... yellow," he said, after staring at the screen for a few minutes.

"Which, as everyone knows, is the color of AWESOME," Sokka replied. "...after blue, of course."

"Of course," Romeo agreed mindlessly; he was watching the show.

After a moment, he added, "Why blue first?"

Sokka stared at him. "Because it's BLUE." As if that explained everything he needed to know.
