third floor common room - tuesday around dinner time

Someone was experimenting.

After today, after everything today, he'd decided that he needed chocolate. But not just chocolate. Spiced chocolate. And not just spiced chocolate. But spiced chocolate with a touch of coffee for bitterness and a little bit of vanilla to balance it and warm gooey--

Let it be put this way: aside from making up a light rice and vegetable dish for dinner, he's also whipped up two trays worth of brownies, rather modified from the original recipe in one of the cook books he'd gotten.

Meanwhile, the bunny guarded Liir's bag and his tome-o-magical-learning from his spot on the far side of the counter. Liir thanked him with scritches and a kiss or two whenever he could step away from the stove, as well as cilantro and carrots so... life wasn't half bunny bad for anyone today.

[open as common rooms are and mmmm chocolate]

Cimorene had pretty much had it with the spontaneous singing about her one true love and the twittering birds. She figured she'd be at least free of the later inside. Coming into the room, she nodded at the boy and the bunny.

Cimorene had wanted to say thank you, she really had. "It's a guest! It's a guest! Sakes alive, well I'll be blessed! Wine's been poured and thank the Lord. I've had the napkins freshly pressed. With dessert. She'll want tea. And my dear that's fine with me" Came out instead. "Bother!"

Strangely enough, that was also Cimorene's way. "Thank you, I'm Cimorene." The princess was half shocked that she got that much out before
"-Undefeated
Riding high
And the nicest guy
not conceited
".
In an un-princess like move, Cimorene shoved the brownie in her mouth.

"I hope he doesn't start hopping and trying to braid my hair." Cimorene muttered darkly. Apparently, she couldn't sing with a brownie jammed in her throat.

Cimorene opened her mouth to reply and felt a song swell up. Another brownie got shoved in her mouth. "Do you know how he turned into a bunny?" She said around the brownie. "Pardon my manners."

Cimorene kept the brownie in her mouth to keep the singing down. The crumbs though...she automatically cleaned up the mess she was making. "This kind of thing happen often?"

"Back home, people turned into animals all the time." Cimorene mumbled, still keeping her mouth full. "The singing...is annoying."

Adam was wondering what the heck was up with all the spontaneous singing. Seriously. Thankfully, he'd been humming mostly... but, still. It was starting to get really annoying.

Wondering what people were up to, Adam wandered one floor down, making his way to the common room.

"Oh, thanks," Adam nodded, taking one. Noticing the bunny, he couldn't help but smile. He idly wondered if it was a pet or maybe a student.

Hey, this was Fandom. Things like that happened all the time.

"Thanks," Adam smiled warmly, accepting the glass of milk. Nothing went with brownies better than milk. "They're really good," he noted.

"Yeah, I do know him," Adam nodded, realizing he hadn't seen or talked to Andrew in a while. That might just be why. "I'm Adam, by the way," he introduced himself, realizing they hadn't officially met. Not that he or his mun could remember, anyway.

"Likewise, Liir," Adam smiled. He always liked meeting new people. "Yeah, they really are good." No, he wasn't just saying that. He meant it! "Oh, thanks. I think one's good for now," he admitted.

"I'm glad to hear that," Adam nodded. "Ahh, Fandom weirdness strikes again," he chuckled, shaking his head. "Happens when you least expect it, too."

"Oh, that must have been quite an experience," Adam commented, wondering how Fandom weirdness had managed to miss him so far. As soon as he thought that, he knew he was going to regret it. "Yeah, I'm wondering just when something like that will happen to me."

He had a feeling that something was going to happen to him now, sooner or later. Nice.

"I was humming most of the day," Adam admitted. "But no singing. Not yet."
