4th Floor Common Room, Tuesday evening/night
Now that Sky had sung his little duet with Troy, he kept bursting into random snatches of song. Which was not good, considering the type of songs he was belting out at the top of his little sparkleball lungs. As he floated into the common room to see if someone had left the TV on for lack of anything else to do, he was finishing up one song.
Gypsies, tramps, and thieves~
We'd hear it from the people of the town
They'd call us Gypsies, tramps, and thieves~
But every night all the men would come around
And lay their money down~
Before he had time to think about how much he hated his life right now, another song was beginning.
Are you gonna take me home tonight
Ah, down beside that red fire light
Are you gonna let it all hang out
Fat bottomed girls, you make the rockin' world go round...
Once the verse had left his sparkly lips, another, totally different one replaced it. This time, his sparkly body seemed to pulse in time to the music that would normally accompany it.
Oops!...I did it again
I played with your heart, got lost in the game
Oh baby, baby
Oops!...You think I'm in love
That I'm sent from above
I'm not that innocent!
Sky could, he supposed, take comfort in the fact that he wasn't in his human body and thus didn't attract as much attention. Not much, but some. He tried the same trick he did at Pizza Planet, blending in with the ceiling lights, but of course, his redness made him stick out a little. And he could not stop singing.
[Open, as a common area is.]

Wandering in, he heard the singing and couldn't help but sing the tune that was stuck in his head.
The mountain is high,
The valley is low,
and you're confused on which way to go
so I've come here to give you a hand
and lead you into the promised land...
Shocked at what had come out, Adam clamped his hands over his mouth, hoping he wasn't going to start singing again. Noticing Sky, he waved slightly, not wanting to risk speaking for fear of another song coming out.

She was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene
I said don't mind, but what do you mean I am the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round
She said I am the one will dance on the floor in the round
She told me her name was Billie Jean, as she caused a scene
Then every head turned with eyes that dreamed of being the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round...

"Whoa, cool."
Yeah, he would regret speaking.
When..I had that chill..
Wind in my face, I've got the sky in my sail.
Then..I know it's right..
Flyin high, I could ride all night..
Stir up the dust..
The path we trust..
Under the sun..
I'm freewheelin'..
Yeah, that needed to stop. Like, right now.
[I couldn't resist this one either.]

And more singing came out.
When you wake up early in the mornin'
Feeling sad like so many of us do
Hold a little soul
And make life your goal
And surely something's gotta come to you
And you gotta say it's alright
Say it's alright
It's alright, have a good time
Cause it's alright
Whoa it's alright...

He wondered if he'd jinxed himself speaking with Liir earlier. "I was talking to Liir before and had said I had managed to avoid the whole singing thing, maybe I jinxed it," he guessed, shaking his head once more.
Hey, look! For once, no song accompanied his words!

"Yeah, I started singing the second I told Troy I wasn't going to, myself," said Sky. "I'm sure we jinxed it, then. I'm thinking next time I need to keep my big fat mouth shut. I only hope that's the end of this stuff for this week."
This time another random verse didn't come out
mostly because his mun turned both WinAmp and her iPod off for the night. For which he was grateful.no subject
"Knowing Fandom, it won't be," Adam sighed, frowning. "Yeah, from now on, I'm refraining from commenting."
