Jamie is currently sitting with himself and himself arguing over which version of "Galaxy Quest" is better.

"Classic!"

"New Adventures!"

"I prefer Lightning Bug."

"You're just obsessed with anything Joss."

"No, it's because Galaxy Quest sucks."

And any minute now they could come to blows.

Romeo looked at the dupes with mild alarm. "Perhaps rather than buy tickets, we ought put each of you in his own prison cell, so as to keep all alive."

All the Jamies turned and looked at Romeo.

"We belong in prison?"

"Only to protect you from yourself!" Romeo protested.

"He's got a point."

"No he doesn't."

"You all annoy me," Jamie declared and absorbed his duplicates.

"Do I still belong in prison?"

"Not from what I can see," Romeo said., only slightly phased by the absorptions. "Though I cannot see all you have done, so perhaps you still belong there for other reasons." He shifted a little uncomfortably in his seat, regretting having brought the topic up to begin with.

"Well I did steal the dean's car at one point," Jamie admitted. "But I did give it pack after I cleaned all the fish out of it."

Romeo was just staring at this point. "Literal fish," he finally managed. "With fins?"

"Sardines," Jamie said with a nod. "She had a bit of a fit when she found out."

Romeo was very grateful his car was on the other side of the country.

"I became also, if existed fish with my car its. Would I like to ask, why or it must smile and move?" He blinked and put his hands over his mouth.

"You okay?" Jamie asked. "Because that made no sense whatsoever."

Romeo flailed. "I white, I falo does not différently, but not taste of this. It is not by the choice, I ensures it!"

And followed that fascinating statement up with more flailing.

"Okay, I know I'm awesome but I've never actually blew someone's mind away before."

Romeo glared at Jamie. "It is not amusing and if it is your defect, I will hurt them."

Jamie held up his want in a conciliatory way. "Just kidding. Anything I can do? Maybe take you to the clinic?"

"Words scrambled coming," Romeo explained.

And then felt an itch near his ear, and the weirdness passed. " ... what happened?" he said, relieved the words came out right.
