The Gym, Sunday Early Morning
Ino yawned as she entered the gym. She'd stayed up far too late last night, too over-excited about her garden to sleep and she was paying for it now by being a little later than normal to the gym.
She still beat Liir there though. Funny that.
With a shake of her head Ino started stretching.
[Ino is here for Liir, but totally open for any of your gymish or Inoish needs.]

Carefully, he put his bag down and made his way to Ino, his smile bright but not quite reaching his eyes.

"Hey you right back."

"Tired. I haven't been sleeping much."

Beat.
"Sorry."

"I'll be fine." He gave her a squeeze. "This helps."

Ponder. Something that might make him smile? Hmmm...
Oh!
"Karal and I talked last night," Ino told him, glancing up, "and we decided that since you're my big brother and his little brother that we're now cousins."
Ino's 'family' tree here at Fandom was a messy confusing thing.

"That doesn't quite work, you know," he pointed out with a quirk of his lips.
no subject
No, it really didn't.
no subject
Not that he was any sort of expert in families. At least not from the practical perspective. But when it came connections and, well, 'ranks'...

"I suppose so. He's an excellent brother, though. If he should need references."
There was a faint smile now.

He looked down at her.
"And you? What kind of big brother am I?"
no subject
Actually, scratch that, she could. Ino wanted to roll her eyes. He had to ask that?
"You," she said firmly, "are a totally awesome big brother. Totally awesome."
no subject
"And it's not just the chocolate and the broom rides?"
no subject
"If you're going to think that I base my affection of you on that," Ino said, "then I'll do without them. I enjoy them, yes, no doubt about it. But that's not why."
no subject
"I didn't think so," he said. If only because of his opinion of her. "But I wanted to know."
He leaned down then and kissed her hair.
"No, you don't have to do without baking and broom rides."

"Except I don't need it proved. You said it. That is all the proof I require."
He gave her another squeeze.
"So what are we doing today?"
no subject
"I think you need something relaxing," Ino said, "because you look like you need to just... set your worries down for at least a little bit." She wasn't sure if stances were good for that when it came to him.
no subject
"I never set my worries down. But I enjoy our sessions. Whatever you think is the next logical lesson."
