Dorm Lobby, Sunday Evening

In the lobby is a big-ass banner that reads "WELCOME HOME TIME TRAVELLERS AND AWAY TEAMS AND WORLD SAVERS AND EVERYONE". And... that's more or less it.

On a table in the corner is punch and pie. JUST punch and pie, and the punch comes pre-spiked. There's also a box with a sign on it that says "NO PIE unless you deposit souvenirs here". Feel free to ignore it.

Sokka, after the TREMENDOUS effort involved in planning a shindig such as this, is sitting on the couch and rubbing his eyes, which are still dry and burning from earlier.

"Booze," Reno promptly announced, holding a cup of punch to the newcomer.

If he was going to get drunk, everyone in the room had better be.

Billy hesitated. "Oh what the hell. One drink."

"Just one? Man, you probably didn't see these things." Reno downed a cupful and grabbed himself another for good measure. "Most tacky freakin' statues I ever saw, and that was before they opened their mouths and started chasin' you. Like some kinda messed-up strobe light rave party crap, but with worse teeth, yo."

"I saw them." Billy nodded. "Not up close because I was pretty sure nothing I had would do much damage to a statue. I just don't drink much."

"Eh, more for me," Reno replied dismissively. "You wouldn't have wanted to get a good look at those freaks anyhow, yo. All teeth and claws and ugly saggy clothing."

"Yeah doesn't sound like my type. Now a good looking woman in tight clothing and a bad attitude...mmm."

"Tight clothing or next to none," Reno agreed with a grin, sticking out his tongue. "This place has a load of that kinda thing. A guy could get to like it here, yo."

"I know I have." Billy grinned.

"It's, what? A little bit more than halfway through my first semester, now, and I sure as hell ain't complainin' anymore." Pause. Wince. Drink. "About the girls. 'M gonna be seein' those stupid statues every time I close my eyes for months."

"Might want to avoid Victoria's Secret catalogues for a while then. Don't want the wings to make you fear girls in their undies."

"So long as the girls in their undies don't start makin' sudden movements while I got my eyes shut, I'm good," Reno decided. "Unless they're totally premeditated, nice movements that don't involve her bein' all up in my face lookin' like she wants me dead, yo."

Being all up in his face in other ways, however, was still perfectly acceptable.
