Third Floor Common Room: Afternoon

With no classes until Friday, Ron was taking advantage of his free time by watching TV and wondering if there was a way that Lupin could watch this show in England. No doubt he needed a good laugh.

Sokka dove onto the couch in a sort of backwards flop and laid, upside-down, watching the TV.

"Anything good on?"

Sokka shrugged. "Good enough. He killed any demons yet this episode?"

"Seriously. They're bad guys; he should be happy about killing them." Sokka shrugged again. "I mean, brooding loner angst makes him look cool -- and don't get me wrong, he's really, really, REALLY cool -- but, you know, he ought to be happier. Get a girlfriend or something."

He watched the show a few moments more. "Think there's a good chance of more carnage before it's over? If not, maybe we watch something else."

"Awwww, don't say that!" Sokka exclaimed, as he started flipping through channels. "You're only a LITTLE bit of a brooding angsty loner."

"...You know, it's kind of hard to tell what you're watching when you're upside down."

"Loner, loser, whatever, the point is, you're NOT, very much. ...Why, who were you grumping about?"

"But... Look! Watch it eat that fish! Isn't that gross? This is some QUALITY entertainment, here!"

"What???" Sokka stared. "You said you didn't LIKE what you were watching!"

He started flipping channels again, and after three stations of competitive polka dancing in a row gave up and tossed the remote back to Ron. "There's got to be SOMETHING good on, right? You can find it! I believe in you!"

"Well, you could have fooled me!"

Sokka changed it back to Seraphim and then tossed the remote at Ron's head.

"So now, it's my fault you have bad reflexes, in ADDITION to the TV sucking?"

"It was totally an accident," Sokka insisted. "I'm not very good at ALL at throwing things accurately."

It didn't count as a lie if it was that blatant, right?
