Fourth Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

By now, Jo had gotten over the whole being a guy thing, and was currently focused on something much more important.

Food. This body was starving.

Which might explain why she currently had far more Chinese than a person could reasonably eat on the table in the common room.

[open as a common room is! there's plenty of Chinese]

A few minutes later, there was a Ferris. Not just any Ferris, this Ferris. Well, there was a voice belonging to a Ferris coming from the door. "There's food and I can smell it a floor away." He wandered in a moment later, paused, saw the food, looked to the audience, then back at the food and continued on. "Hi, Ferris Bueller, I don't think we've met until now. That's a real shame. Mind if I join you?"

He shook Jo's hand in a very manly fashion, really, and then dropped down onto the couch. "You're a king among men, Jo." It had occurred to him that he hadn't met Jo before, but there was food, so he didn't care so much. "You a fourth floor denizen or just here for the fun of it?"

"And yet we haven't met. They say it's a small world, but I'm not convinced. At least there's Chinese food readily available to contrive ways for people to meet."

Meg, who now wearing Sam's clothes, was on her way to Dean's room when she smelled food. She was hungrier than usual. She made a beeline for the food when she walked into the common room.

"I can eat this, right?" she asked.

Meg grabbed a carton of noodles and sat down at the table. "So...who are you usually?"

She had never seen the guy before so she figured it was another girl-turned-dude like herself.

"Yep," Meg said, grinning. Figured that this would be the one time they didn't look like each other. "I'm Meg."

"You know, that actually has made the whole day easier to deal with," Meg admitted. "That, plus the fact I can walk around shirtless. Which is cool."

Not that she had done it. She just liked knowing she could.

"I guess. I keep hitting my head on stuff," Meg said. If this had been a permanent change she would have had to get Sam to give her lessons on how to be tall. "But on the other hand I'm taller than Dean now which is hilarious."

"I actually think he was too distracted by my hotness to be too mad about it," Meg said. And, oh god, that got her thinking about what she and Dean would possibly be up to tonight. Meg suddenly became more interested in her food so she could avoid thinking about it too much.

"Oh my god. He didn't really do that, did he?" Meg asked, laughing. "Aw, poor Luke."

[identity profile] goodgirlmeg.livejournal.com 2008-04-10 06:56 am (UTC)(link)
Meg tried to imagine what that whole "double the junk" thing would look like. It was disturbing. "Okay, if there are guys out there in space with that...situation then I don't want to actually see it."

[identity profile] goodgirlmeg.livejournal.com 2008-04-10 07:07 am (UTC)(link)
"So...do you and Luke have a no-touch policy going on right now with the whole dude thing?" she asked. For no reason whatsoever.

"Experimenting was pretty much the first thing out of Dean's mouth after he realized what happened to me," Meg said, grinning. She sounded a little relieved not to be the only person considering it.

"That's a good point. I'm getting more used to the idea of the whole experimenting thing," she said. "Also, underneath these layers of Sam-wear there's actually a pretty toned body. It'd be a shame if I got to be the only person to see it."

"I'm not going to argue." Either it was new kid day or Ferris hadn't spent enough time on the fourth floor. Probably the latter. "Food, glorious food. I'd say hot sausage and mustard, but that's a little Dickensian for my tastes. Grab a seat."

Meg was grinning as she sat down. This was going to be weird. "I'm glad there's no objections because I'm starving."

She was so going to regret eating all this junk tomorrow.

"Then it's a good thing that there's always a convenient amount of food in any given common room whenever you're hungry." He bit into a dumpling. "Or is it just me who's noticed that?"
