Dorm Lobby - All Day

Meg was in the lobby all day behind a table with a sign that said Get Your Prom Tickets Here! There was a box full of pastries Meg thought looked good at J, GOB. And next to the pastries was a ballot box for prom court. She was pretty damn cheerful and she didn't even need a drop of caffeine to make that happen. Sickening, wasn't it?

Buy tickets from Meg or just talk to her if you want. Just don't smack her for being cheerful, you caffeine deprived jerks.

Meg's cheerfulness has lowered from "host of a children's TV show" cheerful to "someone who found twenty bucks in their pants pocket" cheerful. Which was still pretty damn happy.

I should be around all day with the exception of an hour or two in the early afternoon. I gotta talk to a man about oral. Er...an oral exam...in Italian.

Johnny just shook his head, though he smiled at her. Grabbing his tickets, he turned and left with just a wave of his hand.

Sokka bounced into the lobby with an equal amount of cheer, and a giant grin on his face. "Two, please!"

Meg grinned. She always liked to see another cheerful person. "Coming right up. Who's the lucky girl-or-guy?"

"Mel," Sokka replied, dreamily. "Mel Fray, the most awesomest girl in the world." He gave the girl he vaguely recognized a flirty wink. "Sorry, but Vampire Slayers beat demon hunters hands down."

"I'll have to take your word for it," Meg said, looking a little confused. She often forgot that she looked like Jo. Actually Meg kinda thought he was talking about Dean. Which was weird. She pulled out two tickets and handed them to Sokka. "Here you go."

Romeo was rubbing sleep from his eyes when he stopped by the table just before his final in religions. "Good morning." He knew he had met the girl, but he got her mixed up with his ethics TA, so skipping names altogether seemed easier.

"Morning!" Meg said, bouncing a little. "You want to buy some prom tickets? Or vote for prom court? Or take advantage of the free pastries?"

Seriously, it should be illegal to be this cheerful before noon.

"All of the above, I think," Romeo said, a little surprised by the intense bounciness. His hand reached out to take a cherry danish. "Two tickets, please?"

"Sure thing," Meg said, her smile not wavering for one second. "And good choice with the cherry. They're damn good."

"They are," Romeo had to agree, smiling back as he reached for his wallet with slightly sticky fingers. "The only thing that would make them better would be if chocolate was on top."

"Oooh, that would be good. I should've bought some chocolate syrup," Meg said. Like she needed to have any more sugar. Meg pulled two tickets out of the box and held them out to Romeo.

"Perhaps tomorrow," Romeo suggested with a shrug, taking the tickets and offering payment. "Do you need names? They're Romeo Montague and Yurika Dojima."

"I only need to check names if I'm not sure if you're a junior or senior. But I could tell you were one. We have a mature air about us," Meg joked as she took the money.

"Underclassmen are usually easy to spot since they're the ones that look like they've been stuffed into a locker recently," Meg said, laughing a little. "Makes the whole selling prom tickets thing much easier."
