Shooting Range, Tuesday Mid-Morning to Mid-Afternoon
Ino's mood was... better. Well, 'better' than last night.
That didn't mean she wasn't looking forward to shooting a target that was totally being named 'Cable-san' though.
She really needed her own gun. Ino mulled over the chances of getting her hands on one--maybe talk to Triela about it?--as she waited for Romeo.
And his gun.
Yes.
[Ino's here for Romeo, but totally open for all your Ino-ish or Shooting Range-ish needs.]

"Hello, Ino." He sounded just a little bit cautious, considering the last time he talked to her she'd been smashing her plants.
[OOC: Babywrangling, may be slow.]

"Romeo," she sounded a lot more civil than she had last night. "How'd your final go?"

...
"What yoga?" she asked, willing for a distraction so long as they got around to shooting things eventually. "And do elephants normally learn it?"
no subject
handwavily establishedsupply cabinet, pulling out a target and safety gear. Shooting things was imminent."All I remember is child's pose," Romeo admitted. "And you would think not, but Biff seemed convinced it was possible."
He paused, craning his neck to see Ino. "He was a rather odd teacher."
no subject
"Do you think anyone would mind if I drew on the target?" Ino wondered, even as she wrinkled her nose slightly at the safety gear. Oh well. She'd live. "Odd how? Like... Deadpool-san level of odd or what?"
[And fleeing for home now, so I'll be back in an hour or so!]
no subject
"Biff? No, not near so obvious as Deadpool. More ... you will think you know where you stand, and then he pulls out something about feng shui and Chinese concubines. And he's 2,000 years old."
no subject
She brightened though, at the news that she could draw on the target, and pulled a black marker out of a pocket. "One 'Cable-target' coming up!"
no subject
He eyed Ino. "Do I need to go over the rules, or do you have them? All I care about is that you don't point it at me or anyone else."
no subject
She lifted her chin imperiously. "I know the rules." She just... tended to ignore them. Go Ino. "And I promise I won't point a gun at you." A beat. "Or most other people."
Anyone else was highly dependant on who the 'anyone else' turned out to be.

He carefully handed over his gun, muzzle pointed to the ground. "I suspect 'most' is good enough," he had to admit. "And if Deadpool or Cable comes in, I'll warn them away."
no subject
Ino took the gun neatly, and yes, kept it pointed at the ground. "Spoil-sport," she told him. "Shooting them would be a great deal of fun."
no subject
He looked dubious. "Perhaps, but I suspect I would get the detention or worse if it happened with my gun. But you can shoot when you feel ready, I'll stay here and do some studying."
no subject
"Nah, I'd tell them that I'd stolen it off you and you were here and trying to get me to give it back. You'd be fine then."
no subject
Curious now, he asked, "Does he know you knew him as dead?"
"And I shouldn't let a lady take the fall for me, but in this circumstance I might."
no subject
"I offered," she pointed out, "so it's obviously not a problem for me to take the punishment if that happens."
no subject
"You did offer," he said instead. "That doesn't mean I must let you do it."
With a teasing smile, he gestured to the lanes. "Do you think the Cable target is ready to be shot, at least?"
no subject
She shrugged. "If you want to get into trouble..."
Ino nodded sharply, stepping towards the lanes. "He shall be shot many many times." Oh yes.
no subject
He could wait for Ino to finish some therapeutic shooting before she answered him.

On went the goggles, target was set--with a markered on face--and Ino took her position neatly, raising the gun confidently and shooting at the target. And hitting it.
Again. And again. And again.

It helped, too, that she'd narrowed her focus down to where there was only the gun, her hands, and the target. Nothing else mattered but hitting the target.

So here he was at the rifle range. Currently he was practicing with his throwing stars.
