Second Floor Common Room - Tuesday Morning

Meg hadn't been too bummed out by Lilly going away. She had her parents that she was happy with and Meg was glad to let her go back to them. However, she had gotten upset over the phone call she had gotten from her parents this morning. They made it clear that they were still mad over the Stanford thing by saying they weren't going to be coming to her graduation. At least her little sister will be coming. That was good. Or maybe it wasn't...

Seeing as how she didn't have anything to do today she decided to get out of her room for a bit and hang out in the common room. She was sprawled out on the couch, flipping channels listlessly. Was it illegal to put anything decent on daytime TV? It seemed that way.

Though Willow felt this was an inferior common room, she also felt that her misery should have company. So Meg got the joy of seeing her come in and slump down on a couch.

"I can't believe classes are over," Willow said, with the sort of sorrow that many left for far more serious horrors like death or running out of Chubby Hubby ice cream.

"I know," Meg said, pouting a little for she was also a geek. "What are we supposed to do with ourselves now? The TV will only keep me occupied for so long."

"There aren't even new episodes of Project Runway!" Willow said. Because really that just added insult to injury.

"We still have a couple more episodes of Top Model at least," Meg said helpfully. "But, still, that's only about an hour's worth of distraction."

"Plus they're already overseas," Willow said. "So much of the good stuff is behind us."

"Well maybe we'll get to see them strangle the Italian language again," she said. "That's always fun."

"Oo, or not understand that they're on an assignment!" Willow said. "Since everyone knows reality shows totally have the budget to send people on location for no real reason whatsoever."

Meg giggled. "Well, nobody said that America's next top model had to have any brains."

"It's like when they go on Amazing Race and don't know how to drive stick," Willow said.

"Oh I know. You'd think they had never seen the show before," Meg said, rolling her eyes. "I would never go on Amazing Race because I don't know how to drive stick. And, really, I can't see myself on any reality show. I don't think I can stab people in the back just to get ahead in the game."

"I don't know what I could even go on a reality show for," Willow admitted. "They don't have any for computers or magic users, and I don't drink enough to qualify for the ones where they just throw you in a house and film."

"Me either," Meg said. "They need to make a reality show us nice girls can get on. Instead of winning a man or a contract to a modeling agency we'd win a giant gift certificate to a bookstore and a beach vacation."

"Oo!" Willow perked up. "That would be wonderful! We could prove ourselves by taking tests with number 2 pencils."

"Right! And it won't be all about good grades. The winner would be the person with the best grade and who filled in the answer bubbles fully without having too many eraser marks on their paper," Meg said. Let's just ignore the fact that nobody would ever watch this show.

"Oo! Yes!" Willow said. "And who filled it in perfectly with no going outside the lines."

"And of course there would have to be some sort of challenge involving organizing and sticking to a study schedule," Meg said, nodding. "The more highlighters and charts involved, the better."

Seriously, worst TV show ever.

"And a prize could be more highlighters!" Willow said, actually bouncing in her seat. "Like a whole collection of rare yet useful colors."

"That would be cool," Meg said. Sadly, she wasn't being sarcastic. "These TV executives don't realize what they're missing out on."

"We should run our own station," Willow said, by way of agreement.

"We totally should. We could put on good reality TV shows and a show about good study habits," she said. "And a show about koalas and their habits. That's just for the cute factor."

"Could we also include programs about hedgehogs for much the same purpose?" Willow asked.

"Absolutely!" Meg said. "There can be tons of cute animal programs. It's our network, we can do what we want."

"Oo!" Willow said. "That should totally be our slogan."

"Yes! That way people can't complain if they don't like what they see," she said. "The slogan clearly states that we are in this for our own entertainment."

"We could call it Bitch TV... or the second thing we think of US TV!" Willow said. "Only hopefully people will understand that we mean that as a pronoun and not an abbreviation."

"We can mention it in our promos," Meg said, laughing. "US TV--No that doesn't stand for anything."

"Except the best TV ever!" Willow said, as though continuing the slogan.
