Jamie was sitting on the couch writing out a list of names of people he knew that might be able to help him on his little personal mission. There was also coffee from the Perk and multiple pastries from JGOB available for anyone who might be interested.

Jeff was careful to stay away from the coffee, though. Still not allowed. He threw himself down on the couch. "So, these Greek blokes," he said, conversationally, "Do you think they're really a threat?"

Jamie gave Jeff a puzzled look and put aside his list. "I don't know," he said, "Why? Do you think we're going to be invaded?"

"By the way the squirrels say people are talking about them, I'm starting to think they might already have and we just hadn't noticed," Jeff said, shrugging slightly as he chewed on a doughnut. Mmm. Doughnut.

"Well I think the only invasion we can expect will be the new students at the end of the week," Jamie said with a chuckle. "I'd be more worried about them."

"But what if the Greek blokes are already here?" Jeff asked, staring at his toes, "I don't think I could fight one myself, I don't have the legs."

"What's wrong with your legs?" Jamie asked raising an eyebrow. "And why do you need them to fight greeks?"

"If any of the rest of the Greeks are like Hades," Sokka replied, "we're in for trouble."

Jeff blinked at him. "Mister Hades is Greek?"

"I think so?" Sokka scratched his head. "I'm pretty sure someone said that? But I don't think the rest of them are blue and on fire."

"Well, yeah," Jeff said, adding that all up to his head, "...That would be a bit of a problem." He paused. "It would make them easier to spot, though."

"Well, it's... not going to be too hard to spot them, is it? You just walk over the causeway, and anyone you don't recognize is Greek. Grecian. Whichever."

"Mmm...coffee and pastries," John said, following his nose into the common room.

"There's caffeine in this right?" he asked, pausing before pouring some.

"As far as I know," Jamie said in response. "I don't have the power to analyze it at the molecular level but since I don't want to take a nap anytime soon I'm thinking it's fully leaded."

"Good," John continued getting some. "And yet, I thought one of the perks of Greece and no classes was nap time."

"I slept all morning. And yesterday afternoon," Jamie said. "And I'll probably take a pre-dinner nap and see if I can find some good Greek diner to stuff myself."

"See, that is some serious off-week living," John was impressed. "Spending time napping and partaking in local cuisine."

Sokka waved at John. "So, how are you doing?" he asked. "Blue team still better?"

"Ha, funny you should mention it," John replied. "I hear blue team is sucking pretty majorly." Not that there was practice during intersession.

"Hmmmm...." Sokka said, considering this news. "Where'd you hear that? Your wildest dreams?"

"You know, your captain graduated. You have no leader. I wonder what'll happen this summer..."

Food! Score! Maybe it would help keep his mind off his sudden Mel-lessness. Sokka stuffed a pastry into his mouth.

"So, what's the occasion?" he asked. And then he blinked at Jamie. "You know, I don't think I've asked yet -- exactly WHY did you put your initial on your face?"

Jamie frowned. "It was an unwanted gift from some people I gladly call not my friends."

"You were forcibly tattooed?" Sokka asked. "I thought that only happened in bad sci-fi movies! Are you okay???"

"Yeah," Jamie said glumly. "It wasn't the best of experiences but I survived."

"I think there's something they can do with laser guns that can get rid of it?" Sokka suggested, trying to be helpful. "You... did kick the butts of the people who did that to you, right?"
