5th floor CR, Thursday Afternoon
Somehow, Romeo had seen his fill of Greece for the moment. Blame the slight sunburn peeling the skin off his nose and shoulders.
He was sprawled on the couch, watching a Top Chef marathon. He wasn't sure why; it was only making him hungry. Yet somehow changing the channel was beyond him.
[OOC: Open like a CR, yes.]

When he realized it was Yurika, he lengthened it into a "Heyyyyyyyyy" and even sat up to make some space beside him on the couch. "Can you get me a drink?" he added.

"You should never open negotiations like that, you know. If I weren't so nice, I could take shameless advantage of you."

Dōjima wouldn't put it past her. Rikku's sneaky.
"You weren't attached to that show, were you?" she asked, still flipping channels. Boring. Boring. Boring. Booooooooooooooring.

All of which seemed too big to explain, really, though he'd try. "Not so consciously as I made it sound," he said. "Usually. And not such a change, either. This place infects the way I talk, and sometimes one wishes for language not to be a barrier. But I would hope I'll always sound like myself."
Self-conscious, he added, "Does it matter to you?"

Then he deliberately added a "...zoto."

He suspected they were addictive. (Yos. Not kisses. He knew kisses were addictive.)

Luckily, she had enough verbal oddities of her own to keep Romeo occupied.
"Language lesson!" she proclaimed breathlessly as she squirmed away. "Koko dare ka yoyaku zumi? Which, really, I should have asked before I took up the whole couch."

He wrenched it back. "Perhaps? Wakarimasen." Yes, he'd gone out of his way to learn "I don't understand."
