Fourth Floor Common Room; Saturday Afternoon.

Cal had slept in for three reasons: the first was simply that it was a Saturday, the second was because yesterday had been a very long day, and the third was because he had trouble sleeping anyway. It was being in a new place, with a lot of new people, in an entirely new situation. He was used to it, of course, so he was used to losing sleep over it at first.

Besides, it was nothing a little coffee couldn't fix. He rubbed the back of his neck as he drifted down the hall and into the room with the couches and the TV and the kitchenette and started rummaging around for what he needed.

While...trying not to step on the tortoises.

Wait...

Cal frowned at the little golden tortoises swarming at his feet right now.

Hopefully that was something a little coffee could fix, too.

"I've been here for about a year," Adam answered, smiling. "This place continues to surprise me," he chuckled.

"Oh, my bad," Adam winced, his eyes betraying his amusement. "Of course it will stop at a certain point, what was I thinking?"

"Things will turn back to normal," Adam nodded. "I just hope we don't get too bored," he winked, having found the tea. As he made himself a cup, he wondered what Fandom would be like if everything ended up being normal. No invasions, no AU!kids, nothing of that sort...

"You know, I've heard of that but I've never actually played it," Adam admitted. Boredom was bound to happen, but it never got quiet for long around here. That was the draw, or drawback for some, of Fandom.

"I'm game for that," Adam admitted, smiling. "No pun intended."

"Thanks," Adam laughed. "I'll be sure to save it for a late time. Who knows? Maybe I'll get to use it again."

Adam grinned, laughing lightly at the puns Cal used. "Hmm, I may have to remember those. They seem like winners."
