The Camp Gym; Tuesday Morning.
Another morning in the gym. Cal had a thought that if he kept it up like this, he might be overdoing it, especially when he considered the soreness tugging at his limbs with each small movement, but he also figured he had a class tomorrow and work Thursday, so that should make him slow down at least a little bit.
But he liked it. It was a good way to kill time that wasn't slowly killing him; it was a rare time when how his body felt matched the flow of hormones running through it. Simple, repetitive, almost mechanical movements, carefully sculpting out what for sixteen years he had no control over. And the work and the sweat and the physical strain put him in a better mood for the rest of the day.
So he was there. Another morning in the gym.

But, unfortunately, that was all Cal seemed to come up with. That he felt like sharing, anyway.

Seely was such a good friend.

Because he was having a feeling that, perhaps, where Gavin dared to tread, Gremlins were sure to follow, by the sound of it.

"You can usually find footage of him too," Seely added, because it was just wrong not to bring that up.

"What?" he stopped a second to quirk an eyebrow at the other guy, sitting up to reach for his water bottle. "This Gavin guy, like, spit on your mother or something? You seem pretty intent on filling the newbie in on his exploits."
Either that, or maybe the beefcake had a crush on this Gavin. One of those deep-seeded sort of things that you expressed only through things like this. There had to be something, for one guy to fixate so much on another guy to someone he just met who didn't even know the guy in question.

"Nah, Gavin's good people," he said, shrugging. "It's just that the tin can on wheels really likes taping him and Luke when the gremlins get all bitey."

Even though he was thinking he was pretty sure he didn't want to.
"You guys all just pretty much delight in trying to mess with the new kids around here, don't you? Half the people I talk to try to pawn off about five million stories on me..."

"I don't know," he mused, however, "I've been talking to some people who've been around for a bit who keep mentioning something still throwing them over."
