Virgo Campfire, late Friday evening

After hanging out at the luau for a while, Dean made his way back to his cabin and started a fire in its firepit. He lounged beside it, occasionally poking it with a stick, watching the flames crackle and burn, inbetween watching the starry sky above.

Alice had to consider that; a week in Fandom, five days in Rutledge, eight years in a limbo state inbetween. Still adjusting to all of it.

"I think ... I could like it here very much," she said, a hesitant smile flickering on her lips. "I've found a job at a music store, and all of my classes seem useful and enjoyable. People here ... don't seem to find me unusual, the way they do at home. Or if they do, they're less inclined to stare, which makes it less intimidating, I suppose."

"That's a reassuring thought," she laughed. "For I am never in danger of being perfectly normal."
