Scorpius Campfire - Monday evening

Liir wasn't enjoying the campfire so much as watching it, his eyes unfocused and perhaps a little dry as he didn't blink as often as would have been wise. His hands worked by themselves, peeling oranges and throwing the peels into the fire before popping the pieces into his mouth. The oil in the peels made a nice kind of crackle when it was hit by the fire and the scent that rose from the flames had a faint citrusy aroma... which might tell you how long he'd been there.

He didn't look angry or upset. There was just a small, crooked smile on his face as if he'd just been tricked and he was only just coming along to the point where he thought that the joke he'd been the butt of really had been sort of funny.

That said, the campfire was open for all. He certainly wouldn't mind some company. And there's enough strangely flavored oranges for everyone.

[ooc: open like an open thing and feel free to god your orange]
