Andromeda Campfire; Monday Evening.
Typically, Turtle's strategy involving campfires was centered on the idea of hopping to ones belonging to people she didn't get stuck living with through the entire day. Tonight, however, she was making an exception, especially when one considered that it was a Monday evening and she was not at the radio station. It was surreal and strange and a little bit frightening, so she wasn't feeling too comfortable with going too far away from the safety of her own, familiar cabin tonight.
She was currently attempting to get a fire started, and not doing too terribly well, even if she had a lighter and everything. With her schedule all out of whack like this, it just seemed nothing was going to work right for her.
If one listened carefully, they might have even heard something that could almost have been a curse word, although nothing more dastardly than "damn it!"

"Yes, please," she said, holding out the lighter for him to take if he wanted it. "I think it's just being mean to me."

Snarf rushed out of the cabin, his paws full of supplies. Within minutes, he had a fire going and was making s'mores.

She knew it was impolite to stare and everything, but...
"Ohmygawd," she gushed, "can you teach Nana to do that? I wouldn't hate her half as much if she would make me s'mores."

"I could give it a try," Snarf chimed in, holding two sticks with marshmallows over the fire. "It wasn't so hard, once I saw how everyone else was making them, and the guy at the store was really helpful."

She tilted her head at the...thing. "Snarf is your name? And the store? Which one? Was it my store? Which guy? I want to make sure they're recognized for their good work if they were being helpful!"
no subject
"Not important!" Snarf cut him off. "It was the store with that nice man, G'kar. He was very helpful, snarf snarf."
"He gave us Squishies," added Lion-o, his face lighting up. "And Snarf was a total pig and had two of them."

Turtle looked...extremely downhearted over this, increasingly so the more she talked.

"The poor boy seems to need some new clothes, though," added Snarf, shivering. "He never seems to have a shirt, snarf snarf."

Turtle herself might if she were more exposed to it, but that why she deftly avoided it.

"Did you mention where it was you were from, Lion-o?"
