Andromeda Campfire; Monday Evening.

Typically, Turtle's strategy involving campfires was centered on the idea of hopping to ones belonging to people she didn't get stuck living with through the entire day. Tonight, however, she was making an exception, especially when one considered that it was a Monday evening and she was not at the radio station. It was surreal and strange and a little bit frightening, so she wasn't feeling too comfortable with going too far away from the safety of her own, familiar cabin tonight.

She was currently attempting to get a fire started, and not doing too terribly well, even if she had a lighter and everything. With her schedule all out of whack like this, it just seemed nothing was going to work right for her.

If one listened carefully, they might have even heard something that could almost have been a curse word, although nothing more dastardly than "damn it!"

Lion-o came out from the cabin. "Do you need some help?" he asked.

"I think I can help," said Lion-o with a timid smile. He turned around and went back to the cabin entrance. "SNARF! I'd really like a campfire."

Snarf rushed out of the cabin, his paws full of supplies. Within minutes, he had a fire going and was making s'mores.

Lion-o chuckled nervously. "Snarf is really useful like that. Is Nana your nursemaid?" he asked.

"I could give it a try," Snarf chimed in, holding two sticks with marshmallows over the fire. "It wasn't so hard, once I saw how everyone else was making them, and the guy at the store was really helpful."

"That's kind of boring, if she doesn't talk, but I guess she can't yell at him, then," said Lion-o. "And we call him Snarf, even though that's just the name of his species. His real name is..."

"Not important!" Snarf cut him off. "It was the store with that nice man, G'kar. He was very helpful, snarf snarf."

"He gave us Squishies," added Lion-o, his face lighting up. "And Snarf was a total pig and had two of them."

"Hi Turtle," said Lion-o. "I think I heard you on the radio last week! I'm Lion-o, and this is my faithful squire, Snarf. I think the Squishies we had were Orange something."

"Is it fun doing radio? It always sounds like people are having fun," said Lion-o, noticing that Turtle seemed disappointed.

"Definitely!" said Lion-o. "Just, you know, mention once or twice that just because I'm not human doesn't mean that I'm weird. Where I come from, everyone is either a cat or a snarf."

"I haven't met humans before coming here, but we seem to have a lot in common," said Lion-o. "And yeah, there's been a few people who stared at lot, including my roommate. But I've met others who have been here for a while, and they were really nice."

"A boy named Toby," replied Lion-o. "He seemed a little weird at first because he didn't say anything and just stared. But he was nice about letting Snarf stay in the same room."

"The poor boy seems to need some new clothes, though," added Snarf, shivering. "He never seems to have a shirt, snarf snarf."

"But don't people get cold without wearing shirts? This planet doesn't seem very warm like Thundera," added Lion-o.

"Oh! It's part of some kind of mating ritual," said Lion-o, his cheeks turning red.

"I, um, think I'll have another s'more now," said Lion-o, eager to talk about something else. Anything else. "They're yummy, these s'mores. We don't have anything like them back home."

"I'm from a planet called Thundera," answered Lion-o. "It's an another galaxy far away. It's a volcano planet, so it's really hot and we have a lot of earthquakes."
