Centaurus Campfire: Wednesday morning

Before the crack of Dawn the campfire are of the Centaurus cabin was invaded by certain herd of Madrox duplicates. In what could be considered a well coordinated attack of... decorations, the duplicates set to work. There were pink streamers, pink balloons, pink cupcakes and in the center of it a box of chocolates, Carnations and a giant pink teddy bear that had a big tag on it which read "For Temari".

Oh. And glitter. Pink Glitter. Freaking everywhere.

Their mission complete, the Madroxes disappeared into the night as the dawn's first light began to shine... and reflect off of all that glitter.

[Yes, Open. However, Jamie is not available for interaction]

You would think that Temari would be prepared for just about anything after turning into a pony for a day. But you would be wrong.

Nothing prepared you for a massive amount of glitter and pink.

"I'm going to kill him."

On his way to the gym, Cal had avoided the spectacle in front of whoever's cabin that was like the plague.

On his way out, however, once the assumed recipient of the whole thing seemed to have arrived, he...couldn't live with himself if he just walked on by.

"Awww, fan butt! You've got yourself an admirer!"

She was going to have to kill everyone who saw this.

Painfully.

"Here for the glitter, Sparkle Boy?"

[identity profile] not-a-mused.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 04:44 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oh, I wouldn't want to deprive you," Cal said, holding out his hands as best he could carrying his sweat towel and water bottle. "Although I do like the pink. I had you pegged for more of a purple, but now that I see it, it really fits quite nice, don't you think?"

[identity profile] not-fangirl.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 04:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Temari just gave him an even look.

"You're not sparkling today."

[identity profile] not-a-mused.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 05:03 pm (UTC)(link)
"Nope." Just sweaty; Cal ran the back of his hand over his forehead, upsetting the hair clinging to his skin. He then nodded toward aaaalll the glitter. "Looks like you've got it covered today."

[identity profile] not-fangirl.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 05:37 pm (UTC)(link)
"Really?" Temari smirked and moved quickly to scoop up some of the glitter in her hand, spinning to dump it squarely on his head.

Sure she got some on herself, but it was a fair trade.

[identity profile] not-a-mused.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 05:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Cal....really should have seen that coming. Damn ninjas; he didn't even stand a chance of moving out of the way. And what was worse was the fact that he was sweaty and he could just feel it clinging, and...

"Oh my God," he muttered, "you are so lucky I was on my way to a shower right now."

[identity profile] not-fangirl.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 05:43 pm (UTC)(link)
"But it suits you so well," Temari said, feeling much better about this.

[identity profile] not-a-mused.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 05:53 pm (UTC)(link)
"First off," Cal said, trying to brush the glitter off his chest, "sparkles and glitter are entirely different, I'll have you know. Secondly, it suits me just as much as giant pink teddy bear suits you. Thirdly, I swear to God, if any guys try to kiss me on my way back to my cabin, all this? Is nothing compared to what awaits you, Fan Butt."

[identity profile] not-fangirl.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 05:55 pm (UTC)(link)
"...is that why men are afraid of this stuff?" Temari asked after a moment.

[identity profile] not-a-mused.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 06:19 pm (UTC)(link)
"That's what I gathered from Dean, anyway," Cal said, taking advantage of Temari's little moment of thoughtfulness to fling a little bit of the glitter at her.

[identity profile] not-fangirl.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 06:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Temari shot him a flat look. "Does this mean I have to kiss women?"

[identity profile] not-a-mused.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 06:38 pm (UTC)(link)
"I do believe," Cal said, struggling to keep a smirk down, struggling so much that his face was going a little red, "girlkissy was mentioned as well, yes."

[identity profile] not-fangirl.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 06:42 pm (UTC)(link)
"Hn." Temari didn't really care to kiss women. "I'll try to restrain myself if the urge happens."

[identity profile] not-a-mused.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 07:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Cal decided that he'd better get to getting this off before too much of it stuck. "I'll have to ask around to see how that went for you," he commented as he started to turn, already trying to squirt some water from his water bottle onto his hand to remove some of the glitter on his way. "See you around, fan butt. Don't get sick from eating all those sweets."

[identity profile] not-fangirl.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 07:09 pm (UTC)(link)
"Have fun showering, Sparkle Boy," Temari shot back, contemplating setting it all on fire.

Hoshi and Porthos were headed out for their morning walk, but both stopped dead in their tracks. "Whoa, what happened?" Hoshi asked Temari.

[identity profile] not-fangirl.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 04:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Temari reached down to grab the chocolate. Only thing worth keeping of this... thing. "Some sort of insane attempt at romance, I think."

[identity profile] itsjustlanguage.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 04:47 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yikes. I hope Jack doesn't get any ideas from this," said Hoshi. "Most boys around here are smart enough to stay away from the glitter."

[identity profile] not-fangirl.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 04:49 pm (UTC)(link)
"This is uncommon for here?"

[identity profile] itsjustlanguage.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 04:52 pm (UTC)(link)
"I had two guys who wanted to go to homecoming with me last year, but neither of them went to this extreme," said Hoshi. "They simply just showed up at my room and asked. The one that got rejected started showing up at work every week, too. But guys who have been here a really long time are afraid of glitter, for some reason. I never got a clear explanation why."

[identity profile] not-fangirl.livejournal.com 2008-05-21 05:35 pm (UTC)(link)
"They're afraid of glitter?" Oh, she could use this. "Interesting."
