Gym - Sunday Morning - 6/1
Liir was at the gym, as it was Sunday morning, getting in a little more practice before Ino got there. Worf had certainly made an impression, and so his focus was mostly on very firmly teaching his body that it had to learn things as well as his mind.
It was going surprisingly well.
If that had to do with his lack of hesitation taught to him by his experience in Oz or his specific focus for the day, who could tell?
[open for your Liirish or gymish needs; I'll be in and out today since there's laundry and furniture moving happening in my apartment today so SP warning!]

It wasn't so easy to see now, as he worked alone, but he felt it. Getting up out of that chair, talking to Trism, being kissed...
He had a feeling that the old Liir would have gone to Andrew, feeling horrible. Or perhaps he would have gone crying over the whole ordeal, shaking at what he'd done.
And it was their first session since then.
He hoped it showed.

Until he surpassed her, she supposed. Wasn't that the way of things, really?

"Were you not feeling well?" he asked her after returning to one of the first positions.

"And you were just watching. Or did you not want to interrupt?"

He grinned her way.
"What're we doing today, hmm?"

"You were practising harder than normal," she noted, "did you want to keep with that?"

"Ino? Is there something the matter? Is this about, um..."
Well, there wasn't any kind of way to get out of this that wasn't awkward.
"What's the matter?" he finally asked.

Thinking on the fly? ...what?

"Andrew and I broke up," he said after a moment. "I thought perhaps you'd heard, though I haven't exactly been broadcasting as such."

Ino brushed away his comment about him thinking her answer wasn't right. Who cared? It was the answer and if it didn't make sense then it was and wasn't only her problem. Whatever.
Her mind caught up to what he'd said, brain freezing, latching on to the idea, turning it over in her head and letting her get well and truly furious about something that had nothing to do with her. Excellent.
"He's dead." Flatly. And she wondered idly how best to go about it. She hadn't ever killed someone before though all her training was dedicated to that point and she knew that if she did something like this that Cable-san would disapprove but what did it matter anyway... what really mattered? She didn't know, but the fact that Andrew had done what she'd told him not to and gone and hurt her brother was...
Something she could get entirely furious and not feel the least bit confused about her emotions for.

So she stretched, and turned, and started making her slow and steady way to the door without another word. Let him talk to the air until he was blue in the face. Andrew. Had hurt. Her brother.

And he was very firm on this point.
"It was my choice. And I don't want him hurt. I still care about him."

"Say what you like to him. He certainly doesn't seem to care what I have to say about things, so perhaps you could find out why he's decided I don't matter anymore.
"But hurting him will just hurt me."
no subject
Ino hated that.
"Fuck you," she said finally, then stalked out of the gym before he could say anything else.
Andrew was safe from her killing him then. But that didn't mean she had to admit it out-loud.

Well, he did ruin everything.
After a deep breath, Liir stood back up and grabbed his things. Then he left to move his things back to his room.
