The first floor lobby, Monday morning

Gladys was looming near the stairs, watching the genet.

It was tumbling madly in a pile of lingerie, twisting, jumping, pouncing in pure, almost unholy glee.

Sometime in the night, something had left a variety of underwear scattered across the lobby and draped over various bits of furniture. Gladys wasn't sure what to make of it so she simply kept watching, pondering the mysteries of rogue underwear.

[ooc: open of course! Mod your underwear if you want to find it in the lobby!]

River walked through the lobby, noting the accumulated underwear, including a few items that looked like her own. She smiled at Gladys. "People might take offence if you start collecting their underwear."

River crouched down to study the genet. "Does it eat clothes?" she asked. "Berthold does. Might have appeared, but these look like mine." She held up something white and blue.

"Highly probable," River said, picking up a few more things that belonged to her. "Perhaps they could be neatly arranged so that people would find them more easily. Still knitting?"

River raised an eyebrow. "People might need new underwear," she suggested.

[who wanted the cozies?]

"Most of them are knitted by machines," River objected, holding up one of her own pairs.

"A matter of recalculating the pattern according to thinkness of available yarn," River replied. "Adapt an existing item."

"Turtle and Canary?" River suggested. They seemed to have a lot of things.

Amidst the silk and lace and cotton, the skimpy frilly bits and the plainer ones, were some long rectangular... things that looked a bit like dirty dishcloths.

When Sokka spotted them, he turned bright red and started collecting them as quickly as possible.
