Second Floor Common Room, Monday Afternoon

Bowl of cereal in hand, Andrew flopped down on a couch and turned on the television. He flipped through the channels, finally landing on an episode of Dirty Jobs.

"Oh, Mike," Andrew said aloud, "I do so appreciate you reassuring me that life isn't that bad." He could always be working in a waste water treatment plant.

He sighed and tugged on his shorts. Going commando wasn't nearly as comfortable as he thought it would be.

Andrew waved, his mouth full of cereal. "Goo' 'fter'oon," he replied.

It was probably a good thing that between Naruto and Kiba Hinata was used to ignoring when people talked with their mouths shut. "I d-don't believe we've m-met before," Hinata offered, stepping further into the room. "I am Hyuuga Hinata."

He swallowed. "Andrew Wells," he replied. "Feel free to have a seat or grab some food. You're new here, yes? Are you on this floor or just passing through?"

"I'm u-up on the fourth floor," she said, with a smile, "b-but I thought it wouldn't be a b-bad thing to peek into the other common rooms o-once in a while."

Well, more often than that really, Hinata was trying to socialize more.

"Some of them are definitely better than others," Andrew replied with a nod and a smile. "I'm kind of partial to this one, myself." He, of course, lived right next to it, so it was more a convenience issue than anything else.

That got a quiet laugh. "W-What makes one better than the r-rest?" she asked. "They're all m-much the same to me."

"It all has to do with the people and the arrangement. The feng shui in here is just spot on," he said. "So the, um, energy flows freely."

That got a tilt of her head. "S-Spiritual energy?"

Andrew had no clue what kind of energy. "Sure," he replied. "Spiritual, kinetic, potential -- you know, energy. Stuff."

"S-Stuff?" Hinata asked; amused.

"Yeah, stuff," he repeated, with a touch more confidence. "So, Hyuuga, do you want some cereal?"

The term of address made her blink, but she shrugged it off. It was a perfectly acceptable, even common, way of calling her back home.

Even if Temari-san was the only other one to do it here.

"W-What kind of cereal?" she asked. "I-Is there sugar in it like there's s-sugar in everything here?"

"The good stuff is loaded with sugar," he replied. "But there are some healthy options as well. You know, things full of bran and whole grains. It'll keep you regular, I guess, but I need a sugary jolt in the mornings. To clear my head."
